i know what you mean. Hope its not just the "its new" feeling.
I also think that watching Beastyqt's stream is more interesting for me than watching a cast.

Agreed about BeastyQT's stream . . .
Also it's too bad that Infinity Gaming is so disorganized with their event. Granted it's only $100, but on stream they had the balls to say that they're going to decide future Starbow tournaments based on the reception for this one. And yet they forgot to add the tournament on the TL event calender, their stream isn't even listed in the OP of their thread and their stream (if you can find it) is stuttering and lagging so badly that it's unwatchable. Beastyqt has X3 as many viewers on his personal stream during this tournament as the official event.

LOL, nice ;D
+ Show Spoiler [Beasty vs Arthur] +WOW, Beasty wins 3:2! Hoped for that Comeback ;D rly nice games. Hope they get some attention from TB/Husky

Beasty... + Show Spoiler +went from 0-2 against Arthur to 3-2 in semis. He is going now into Finals, and majority of his games against Dragon and Arthur are must watch. Really good games.

I third this, didn't even know about the tourney until semi-finals ;d Hopefully that is something the starbow page will cover.

He said that he will send those replays to Husky and TB, both casters have a lot of viewers and TB especially loves Starbow. I will definitely watch him cast this, and with these games probably even more people will tune into Starbow.

It's definitely not just the "new" feeling for me at least, since really it's mostly brood war. But as you say, "If it's not broke, don't fix it". Brood war was as a game IMO ALMOST perfect, and in Sc2 there was really no remove all the fundamentals and make a completely new game. The Starbow developers are doing what Blizzard should have done, take the things that was good about bw, and then add things that it lacked. Mainly a bit more accessible controls, and maybe a new unit or 2 for each race. There's really no need to overdo things.

Yeh. Its just a bit of a shame that Siege Tanks were bugged during the fantastic game against Dragon Texas (weren't shooting).

lets hope so. I just hope Beasty gets lots of subscribers (you can sub to his channel since today or yesterday) so he'll stay motivated to stream more, then i can watch him play more ;D yay

They did say earlier that this is the most successful tournament they've ever had for any game, so I think the chances are likely that they host future Starbow tourneys.

Found a way to make use of the Luker range in a bunker siege scenario, though not sure if very practical :D + Show Spoiler +![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/brXapjD.jpg) I am using transnurturing swarm after 2 lurker shots to keep the tumor alive, it is not damaged from the marines. Marines have +1 range upgrade + bunker range upgrade

Yeah, I saw it few times, but it wasn't really that gamebreaking, game was still amazing nonetheless.

Well if 150 viewers is successful then all power to them. It could have been 1k if they just put it on the freaking events calendar and put the stream in the OP of their thread.

terran upgrades arent applying to air, not sure if im in an old game mode

I haven't played SC2 for a long time, but I saw some games of this mod and it looks really good. I only own Wings of Liberty, is that enough to play the game or do I need to get the expansion?

No, WOL is enough. 2.1 makes it free to play in Arcade.

Damn, Beastyqt run through this tournament was definetly amazing. Hope TB and Husky will cast some of the replays (better all of them, but there I can just keep dreaming).
