After reddit thread and EVEN thread on TeamLiquid this is just hurting Clarity Gaming. You are acting like 5yo kids. You make this public, what it should help?

Next time: first talk in private and TRY TO SOLVE THINGS.

I don't see this really as an issue unless it devolves down to TaKe vs Genna Bain kinda stuff. It's perfectly fine if they both openly state their positions and then discuss and conclude matters in private.

This looks more like this:

Boy1 steal candy from Boy2. What Boy2 does? He goes straight way to tell somebody else, not ask first that could he give candy back.

People are going to be wondering why Clarity released Dragon before his contract was up. Clarity needed to make a statement regarding that anyway.

What an awful analogy.

Marketing wise this is great for core. I just hope they retain their players like EG or TL and not give up so easily on them. Too bad SC2 is a dying game.

Yea, Heaven forbid Dragon try to make a living/be happy with himself at the same time. He was clearly upset while at the Clarity house, even going as far as to type out his feelings to the chat. Almost all sc2 progamers have made little to no money in tournaments, etc, but now we are on the honor system I guess?

Quite hypocritical.

Probably had to do with internet issues at the Clarity house.

apparently Core's acquisition of Dragon was unauthorized, which is kind of hard not to believe considering Nanocloud's recent drama unfolding.

Core Players are free to leave at any time.

Professional teams like EG, TL, and ROOT have large financial commitments to players and provide accommodations that truly shape a player's life for the better (team houses, salaries, lots of exposure, etc), which is why they have solid contracts and regulate the actions of their players. For a semi-professional team like Core, our only goal is to make our players happy and provide them with the basic support they need to further themselves.

If one of our players is unhappy and wants to leave, they can leave! For semi-pro teams, I think it's silly to have a contract that forces a player to stay with a group even when they are unhappy, which is why our Core contracts allow players to leave whenever they want. If any of our players want to leave, they can leave, but we have had no one leave yet or even inquire about leaving. I am fully aware that there will be a day when players want to move on and that's great, all the power to them In fact, we will do our best to work with the other organization to make the player's transition as smooth as possible.

It is my responsibility to provide each player with the support they need to remain happy and reach their potential. If I fail to provide that support, then that player is free to pursue any other avenue. In fact, we will support them and encourage them to do so.

Background: Clarity Gaming management has been extremely helpful with Dragon's transition from Clarity to Core. Milad and I spoke to Mike, the Chief Operating Officer for Clarity Gaming, prior to contacting Dragon and developed amiable terms to make the transition as smooth as possible. Mike formally released Dragon on September 15th, 2013.

EDIT: I need to phrase my original message better. This message is currently misleading. Dragon has not officially been released from his contract with Clarity Gaming yet. Therefore, please remove this message.

yeah this is fucked up.

''so you guys might have contracts with us but its okay if you wanna wipe your buttocks with it, we dont mind. meanwhile heres your paychceck. Get better plz.''

And btw, hiring Dragon doesnt contribute to create/strenghten the professional image/brand you try to shove down our throats every time you open a thread.
