Seeing some great things out of Core. This is another solid pickup. Now with a lineup of: JonnnyREcco, Sonic, DeParture, and now Dragon amongst others. What a promising team filled with talent; Look forward to seeing what this team can do.

Clarity Gaming management has been extremely helpful with Dragon's transition from Clarity to Core.

According to clarity they didn't dissolve the contract are looking at this very seriously.

We are pretty confused because this seems to be a communication issue between Clarity management and not a Core-to-Clarity issue. We look forward to cooperating with Clarity to remedy the situation.

The one thing I don't understand is how anything is supposed to ever progress with these teams and players and stuff. Without knowing the whole situation (I don't and I don't pretend to) it seems to me that Core did a lot (or say they did a lot) to make all of this stuff go through smoothly.

Using their completely open posts as reference, I tend to feel that what was going on was probably in the best interest of all involved.

Similarly, Clarity has been pretty open about their business practices as well.

From my (albeit little) business experience, the COO usually tends to be the guy who makes decisions when the CEO is indisposed for some reason or another. Is this a case of a COO making a decision prematurely? Is it possible that other members of the organization do not know of the responsibilities of the COO?

I'm just curious mostly. I like both organizations for what they've tried to do. I see both as "good guys" and wonder if maybe this is a huge misunderstanding.
My name is Mike, and statistically, yours is not.

Community has it's Pitchforks ready, we now need a target! Who are we going for? The evil masterthieves of Core? Or the unorganised allstars team of Clarity? Or maybe do a FFA?

Alternatively i would suggest a clanwar between the orgas of both teams (make it like 3 1on1 and one 2on2, if it is drawn there must be a vote on TL who should be lynched) Whoever wins gets the dragon and a shitstorm by the community, the loser only gets a shitstorm.

And Core Gaming is back on SC2 drama central. Dear god you guys have a knack for pissing everybody off except the fanboys and members that flood the first two pages of teamliquid.

As always, I HOPE this is a legit team that WILL improve the NA scene, but every time something like this comes around the amout of hope I have for that occuring shrinks a bunch. But that is the goal, improving the NA scene, improving the talent and skill level of NA players and the validity of NA organizations. However, this looks (and continues to look) extremely sketchy in premise all the way down to execution.

I dont believe its fair to point the full blame on Core here. Given someone inside Clarity gave permission for dragon to be released from Clarity. I think this is more of a Clarity Gaming internal conflict of some sorts. Perhaps we should give them time to address the situation and deal with their internal conflicts before putting blame anywhere.

as a casual follower of pro starcraft, i'm just begging any and every team to stop wasting everyone's time with this kind of drama... solve the issue and THEN post an announcement instead of playing public relations and trying to get everyone to sympathize with you and hate the other team. none of this is good for anyone :/

We spoke to Mike, the Chief Operating Officer for Clarity Gaming, to discuss the situation with Dragon. As an Officer in Clarity Gaming, he formally released Dragon on September 15th, 2013. There does seem to be a few issues regarding this and we hope to get things resolved soon.

and Core Gaming did not have any reason to believe that "Mike" did not have actual authority then principles of "apparent authority" would apply and Core did nothing wrong (legally at least). the fact that "Mike" is apparently a COO (laughable that such a small organization would have one, but whatever) would weigh heavily in favor of finding apparent authority.

I can't stop myself from laughing a bit about teams signing dragon all over again.
Its like this guy changes team every 2 months and teams just sign him because his stream is popular and they can have a better TL coverage for a while.

Seriously...You want to hire korean hopes ?
Give the community a service and hire new faces such as (T)Miso,(T)Sorry,(Z)JuNi,(P)Aria,(T)Speed,(Z)BurNing,(T)Mind...Those are actually potential code S champs and are cheap as fuck.

You guys signed dragon? What ever happen to supporting hopeful NA pros? This seems nothing more than a cheap attention grab. Dragon can't even be considered a serious pro gamer.

He in my opinion is in line with Avilo .... Just not really caring about being a TRULY serious contender more interested in giving People entertainment on stream by acting as dumb as they possibly can........ Essentially he is the britney spears of eSports..... all show, no talent......

Pains me to say it but there it is........ I really hope he proves to be more than that for Core but he has yet to put up any real results so I don't know why you guys are fighting over him so hardcore.....

After reddit thread and EVEN thread on TeamLiquid this is just hurting Clarity Gaming. You are acting like 5yo kids. You make this public, what it should help?

Next time: first talk in private and TRY TO SOLVE THINGS.

I don't see this really as an issue unless it devolves down to TaKe vs Genna Bain kinda stuff. It's perfectly fine if they both openly state their positions and then discuss and conclude matters in private.

This looks more like this:

Boy1 steal candy from Boy2. What Boy2 does? He goes straight way to tell somebody else, not ask first that could he give candy back.
