Looks like Destiny is smater than DJ Wheat, Idra, and Incontrol who trashed on him on SOTG a while back for saying sc2 is dying. They should of respected his opinion, because he clearly explained how blizzard was killing sc2 yet most of the community flamed him for no reason.

Truth is, a major LoL event gets at worse 2x Sc2 viewers, and that's more because the major sc2 event is having a bad day than the other way around, and usually it gets some 1,3x (90-100k vs 120-140k) these are the usual numbers, while on very good Sc2 days (and yes, they do NOT happen every month, especially not in summer) we get this.

All of my points were correct and because I don't feel like finding the actual numbers and chose to use CLEARLY exaggerated ones doesn't take away from any of the points. LoL DOES have more viewers, sc2 viewers DO use adblock more than LoL viewers. Try and argue with either point, it's not possible. So you're saying that in order to state the obvious, that LoL does have more viewers, and what is somewhat arguable although a clearly believable thing in "LoL has less adblock" (due to the demographics being slightly different/older?), you're warranted to use numbers that are wrong by an order of magnitude?

How can you possibly talk about tournament financial stuff? Did you even read TotalBiscuits report about ShoutCraft's financial breakdown for istance (citing one of the few organizers that posts a breakdown) before writing that thing?

Whoops, you posted that a few minutes to late. Now you just look dumb and like you didn't read the thread. This has nothing to do with Blizzard and SC2 is fine. And Destiny is still wrong. Redbull will be running an event that weekend and I bet it will be just as much fun as the one that MLG is putting on.

Also, it was ITG, not SOTG. Get your facts straight.

Someone simply isn't paying attention. MLG lost the time slot to Red Bull it appears. Not some ridiculous SC2 is dying garbage. And no I'm sorry, no one should respect that buffoon. He might play off that he has book smarts, but in common sense and street smarts he sorely lacks.

At least we know why now. SC2 isn't unwanted, its that two groups wanted it. Personally, I like Redbull a little more than MLG, with their studio feel. I am betting they will do some open bracket event or qualifers of some form. That would be the most fun.

Only question i still have, why did MLG announce so early that there wasn't sc2 at Columbus instead of laying low and wait for a Redbull announcement? INcontrol thought it was for damage control, but he didn't know about the Redbull thingy apparently...

So this is just another case of "I don't care about PR" from Sundance?
I can't imagine this information (about Redbull) being secret. Just announce that you're unable to host SC2 because of this and everything is clear. Oh well, maybe there is more to it.
