How about tossgirl losing to Greg? Naturally emotional creatures man (pun intended because there are a lot of examples of the boys not being too thrilled about losing either). You need to have that killer instinct.

I bet no one watched her beat Aphrodite on Star Haeng.
They replayed sOs vs Innovation on Neo Planet S where sOs went tempests versus Innovation's standard comp. It lasted 1 hour and Eve eventually won. Since everyone agrees Aphrodite is among the best female pros and pretty good at the game regardless, Eve was still good at the game. Certainly better than most of the lot complaining about girls on teams.

the community should not be generalized as sexist based on the comments of a select few. eve has received as much positive attention as she has negative attention, but to focus on the latter is destructive.

From my view, some of the positive stuff is incredibly' patronising and to overlook that is to perpetuate the very sexism that people rail against.
It's not just negative comments that create a sexist environment.

Saying 'it's an activity largely populated by men' is more neutral.

Good job Jessica! I really don't understand. There have been a couple of females who got to GM and never got picked up. If you really want a female on your team take one of those not a diamond leaguer.
I don't want to seem like an ass, but people are making a fuss over nothing. She basically did nothing for the entire course of her career.

I always wondered why so many people try to attest social issues to deep, abstract things like society/culture, or the human psyche. Female oppression is soley from one reason-- physical inferiority. Look at the world around you. Strong animals prey on weaker ones. Hell, look at our history. Men have suffered a hell of a lot worse things from other men that women have.
People try to find an explanation for murder, or war, or oppression, anything else, but if you just look at life itself you'll find your answers. We are no more different than lions. We kill, mate, eat, and die. It's how it's been since the dawn of life, and it's how life will continue to be. A few people in developed countries try to find the root of humanities problems and the answers to what they deem as barbaric, while the world around them burns. Life is violent chaos, where the weak die or are manipulated, and the strong live until they meet someone stronger.
A "scholarly" approach will do nothing to change the nature of life.

i don't think anyone disputes that, but it is not progressive to place psychological barriers unnecessarily. you're underestimating the tremendous advancements that have set us apart from lions.

Internet points with the ladies, nice.
Also I find the "we are no better than animals" argument really ironic. The very sentence and its articulation, logic, and self-awareness certainly isn't something a hippopotamus would say or think.
