I think it's only logical that they align the ladder map pool with the WCS map pool.
Something like "WCS maps + 0-3 exclusive ladder maps", so that Blizzard can still put in some more unconventional/too rushy/bad (:D) maps, but pros can still veto them.

sounds cool enough from where i'm standing but especially cool for the pros who can now establish a predictable rhythm of maintaining their ladder play and tournament play at the same time.

Maybe the proleague map pool should be added to that list. IMO it is also quite good, I especially love fighting spirit.

hmm could be funny if each region has their own map pool on ladder. More maps more fun even with lag.
On a more serious note I rather hope it doesn't mean the Tournament map pool will slow down heh.

Hehe there is 1 bad thing I am worried about. Blizzard just doing their own maps (or not changing them). That is really my only concern right now.

Please standardize the map pool. It'll be awesome playing games and trying to emulate strategies we see in WCS/Proleague/GSL instead of stuff like that bridge map -.-

It's fine if Blizzard includes a few... "unconventional/too rushy/bad (:D) maps" (as was well stated above) as long as they can be vetoed.
