I don't mind that the map pool is different from one and another. It means that more maps can be tested in all the WCS regions and the it adds a regional flair. But half of the map pool should be aligned through the different regions so there is some sort of consistency.

So does the ladder effect wcs at all? If not then its pretty irrelevant.

You should consider revising the format of the map-pools of the different regions. Start with the maps played in all regions, follow with the maps played in two regions and end with maps played in only a single region. It would give a cleaner/easier to read look at the different maps. You could add the maps played in the season finals also. Thanks!

I prefer to have different map pools per region, because this rewards map makers and players that use map specific strategies. And I think it's more interesting for the viewers to have diversity.
