I still think they should add some splash damage to the spore crawler. Would help with Muta v Muta and skytoss, while not affecting ZvT

In my opinion, all three changes are welcome. However I'd much rather see a buff to hydra AA(NOT anti-ground) rather than a "subtle" buff for zvz.

muta play shouldnt go away completely. with spore splash it almost certainly would, save gimmicks. kind of intense to have static defense do splash damage, too. but i wouldn't complain, as a zerg.

Agree across the board.

ZvZ was glorious towards the end of WoL (fuck the haters :p), and may be in need of some minor changes.

Oracles are fun to watch zoom around, and toss needs more harass potential to keep them interesting like Zerg and Terran. Less defend into deathball

Burrow is already good. Maybe just 10 sec off the research time.

I don't understand the balance changes at all.

Oracles don't need a buff. If they're unscouted, they can wreck your mineral line instantly already.

Terran is not even mentioned. I would like to see a small medivac nerf.

I like the burrow idea, I am a big burrow fan.

Why would they change spore damage? They did that already, so that mutas wont fly over them. Increasing the damage won't change a thing. Mutas still wont fly over them.

I just don't understand why everyone is saying it's almost mandatory to go mutas in ZvZ ? 1 spore could really fuck it up, and I'm not talking about 2 spores and a queen...
Please can someone explain me why hydras / infestors are not a good way to go in ZvZ ? Why has it changed since WoL or anything ?
Don't tell me that mutas' acceleration changed everything cauz clearly I didn't notice it... (And i'm playing mutas since bw...)
Infestors' fungal may be harder to land it perfectly, but it's not like it's impossible to be able to do it...
I feel like a lot of zergs have been lazy lately with the current ZvT and ZvP's changes that they don't want their ZvZ to be changed too.

I don't want to get burrow roach allin'd every 2nd game

In only played vs it like twice in beta but because its so difficult to scout compared to any other roach allin I lost horribly.
If you watch Godzilla backwards it's about a benevolent lizard who helps rebuild a city and then moonwalks into the ocean.

It's a combination of things.

Firstly Mutas are faster, making them get away easier
Secondly, Infestors shoot the projectile now and it will miss if the opponent is aware enough to retreat.
Thirdly, you will need to land at least 5 fungals to kill the mutas. With the new ability they have to regenerate hp, they are fully healed really fast.
Fourthly, mutas pop out before infestors and give you great map control. You can pick off all the overlords on your opponents side of the map, and they can't do anything except watch them die. Got Hydras? Don't worry, mutalisks are faster

You mentioned about making spores, but 1 spore can only kill so many mutas. If it turns in to the big 30 mutas vs 30 muta situation, they can take down 2 spores easy

Of all of the issues people have been bringing up...this is what they come up with? Are you kidding???

Spores are already insanely good vs. muta (5 shots kill iirc) because they already buffed dmg vs. bio in beta. It didn't solve issue so just keep buffing it?

No one thinks oracle should be faster...even if they are, they are countered now with one spore/turret/cannon. Speed will not make them better vs it. Nor will speed help them survive in army compositions.

Burrow buff? Who asked for this?

The big problems right now are zerg AA (sorry but static d isn't going to help much)...and freaking hell bats/drops.

I would propose hydra +1 range vs. air only (to help zvz and zvp)...?

and i would love a different mappool, which is a bit more "balanced". on most of the maps besides akilon and daybreak its VERY VERY hard to ever take a 3rd as a protoss, while its ok for T and Z. thats why your options are rather limited as a P.

Personally id rather them buff things to create balance rather than nerf things. If each race had an equal amount of Op things it makes for a better watch. and allows more swings in momentum between players. Rather than just one player secures an advantage and compounds it till victory.

That said this is a relatively small patch, and i have no problem with any Idea listed. Like how blizzard is being careful, to at least let things play out for a while before any significant changes.

Only complaint is the oracle change? Oracles can be LOL you lost 8 workers in 5 secs or less, depending on how you scout it. I overall think the unit needs to be changed for that. Speed only means it will get your mineral line faster and do dmg.
