They will run some kind of tournament from there, probably only online? EG Masters Cup maybe Hmmm, could be a super cool version of EGMCSL? Combined with old IPL? Or the dregs of it? I have to believe EG isn't big enough to straight up buy out IPL, but who knows?

Hell, the DotA community probably don't want it. It's always been about the tournament made by the community. And the only reason DotA 2 isn't in any big tournament beside DH is because of fucking riot.

If not then this announcement literally kills sc2 for me since I have no interest in watching mediocre foreigners play against each other. You can still watch GSL and OSL vods just like we always have.

They will all still be running. ESL and MLG will be hosting GSL style events as WCS qualifiers as well. At least that's what i took from this. They said MLG Anaheim is still happening for SC2 and anyone can play

I have no idea why you would want a REbroadcast, but there are broadcasts available to you. Being such a competitive and elite discerning spectator you may have heard of these leagues called GSL and OSL which you can still watch and will in all likelihood not have many mediocre foreigners (unless all Koreans move to NA and leaves GSL/OSL for carn (still in Korea right?), major and naniwa to win). In addition the global finals are not going to have many mediocore foreigners either, maybe 1 or 2 of the best NA/EU have to offer, but even that is doubtful.
