Being such a competitive and elite discerning spectator you may have heard of these leagues called GSL and OSL which you can still watch and will in all likelihood not have many mediocre foreigners (unless all Koreans move to NA and leaves GSL/OSL for carn (still in Korea right?), major and naniwa to win). In addition the global finals are not going to have many mediocore foreigners either, maybe 1 or 2 of the best NA/EU have to offer, but even that is doubtful. I think he means a rebroadcast of Korean leagues, presumably because he does not want to stay up until 7am.

It is a terrible move for their PR and their Skill for any Code S calibre player to come and play in the GSL-NA if would depend on the circumstances. if you're in it for the $. You go for the easier league, especially if the prize pool is the same. if youre in it for the prestige and popularity you go for KR. A player like Stephano has the money approach, arranging his schedule so that his skill can maximize his cash return, while guys like MVP do it for the prestige.

I wonder if the GSL restream will still be aired, and what quality that will have.

Though, by extension, NA and EU will become slightly more prestigious. Maybe they should give a slight bonus, like 1.2x or something, to people who play in their own geographical region?

NASL still contributes to the WCS points, so they aren't completely left out of the system. Besides, NASL prefers being out of the loop from what I've seen, and prefer their independence.

I don't know but they don't have the same infrastructure as MLG atm and perhaps they want to bring koreans to NA as well? Not sure what their plans are atm havent heard too much in terms of a new season from them yet.

I can see where DH is angry, as their tournament format fits with what's going on with WCS, but I feel like NASL just wouldn't work out, with cross server play and a season rather than one big LAN.

GSL/OSL/WCS.KR will no longer be the most prestigious by a long shot because half of its field will be gutted out. Though, by extension, NA and EU will become slightly more prestigious. I can't imagine Code S players will decide to give up their spot and join another region. On April 03 2013 12:04 Maaasta wrote: hopefully we get a "lan client" for the offline World Final.... Stay up until 3AM my time to watch live and not be able to rewatch or pay $60 per year for VODs. Pretty easy answer if you ask me.So..GSL:free 720p but still need a ticket for vods? Can't watch it live everyday so guess i'll keep getting tickets :p
