He actually did answer some reporter's questions, can't remember bout what exactly, but he definitely confirmed that Crank asked him to keep a secret bout leaving I believe.

To be fair, Manager J had quite the resume and had been involved in various aspects of eSports for a long time.
Which is not meant to be an excuse for her ... she probably shouldn't have been so trusting, and neither should MMA. Keep in mind that J also had more experience managing a team than Jessica, and that may have been a factor in MMA trusting J more re: sponsorship.
