livin on my own i paid 400 They get everything looked after though. Not unfair if you think of that..
Also how is anyone saying they didn't refute what Fuzer said? They said they offered him the refund -_-

This sucks to hear man, there will always be fuckwits out there who are just money grubbing bastards and all round bad guys.

instead of making drama americancunts, go and win a tournament. at least one.

I read Esfi statement but they never actually answer what Fuzer said.
And MoW reputation goes down the drain.

livin on my own i paid 400 And for 400 you've a garden, a maid, a sauna, an high speed internet connection, a computer, a weights room, buddy to train SC2 and a cooker ?
For all this, he had to pay the 600 euros PLUS the rev-share on his stream, though

According to you if I don't win tournaments I can't complain about anything and people can't treat me as they want? Somehow I can feel polish bias :/

Would he have gotten revenue on his stream had he not entered the MoW though?

If there is one thing I've learned from this its that one should NEVER transact in cash without some kind of record. It seems like on that basis alone, MoW Boss is going to keep the money that was paid even though Fuzer isn't going to stay the entire month. Ethically its wrong but I guess legally he can get away with such shenanigans?
I just don't see how it could have taken that long for Fuzer's legal representation to take a gander at the contract. Why couldn't MoW just wait until Fuzer had handled the matter with some legal counsel, especially since the contract was written in a language that wasn't his main one? As far as I know that doesn't seem very accommodating on the part of MoW. In the meanwhile, he has paid to stay in the house so why doesn't he just stay there to at least get the value of what he paid?
Maybe Fuzer could reach an agreement with MoW to stay for half the month and then have half the money he paid returned to him. That way he can stay and practice and get better (he mentioned improving while there), he can get his "moneys worth" while MoW still gets half the money. A sort of fee for his leaving the house and not signing the contract.
Just a thought but I feel like it could work. Of course, I don't know all the details so I can only speculate.

monthly rent + cut of streaming? unless you get to have sex with the maid the cost isnt worth it

Ministry of Win is a complete scam and should be ostracized from the community. TL should pull Ret from there, and also refuse to show any MoW-affiliated streams.
1. Unreasonable labor obligation with stream revenue sharing - not verbally communicated to players. 2. Unreasonable non-compete clause, at odds with Polish and international law and practice - again, not verbally communicated to players. 3. Charging players 600 EUR per month and then expecting them to work for you? What? Are they customers or employees? 4. Under Polish law, non-compete clauses require at least 25% of median salary during employment as monetary compensation for the duration of the agreement post-employment. 5. Dismissal of player's concerns about contract by demanding to see his legal counsel's license? What the hell? 6. Blackmailing a player by refusing a refund if they don't sign the contract.
This is beyond the pale.

you have a point about possibly this being illegal because if they are required to work they are employees and if they are an employee then that means theres minimum wage laws right

people like this make it so hard to not generalize about Americans and their education :/ could you please acknowledge the fact that prices and living standard in general is not same anywhere you go in the world, or is the problem that you think that because Poland is in Europe it's like Paris costs-wise ?
i'm really wondering what's the background for a statement like that? you must know something many people actually from eastern europe don't... :/

So basically the contract is as Fuzer said, but lets say.. negotiable when it comes to streaming percentage cut?
What disgusts me personally the most is the unhealthy food here and even Desrow said the same.

Yes. If I get together with 9 other people and we all spend 400, that's 4000 a month. Hell, we could have all that and a chauffeured limo to drive us around.
Here, an Estonian house, 5 minute walk from a beach, 15 minute drive from the city center, 347 square meters (3700 sq ft), swimming pool, sauna, etc. 1500 euros a month.

Electric bill with 20ish computers running 24/7 would probably be around 200 euros a month. Water/garbage/etc would be another 100 tops. 100mbit Internet would be around 40 a month.

i pay more than 600euro / Month for my apartment, though there are easy to get cheaper in sweden, 600Euro for a living in poland seems like an robbery

800 dollars a month for a tiny portion of rent is pretty steep in a lot of places in the US/Canada as well. I rented a very nice two bedroom apartment by the river in Winnipeg and it was 800 dollars a month. This was well above what a normal apartment would cost, let alone what renting a house would cost.

There have been a lot of good points raised about labor laws... Furthermore, if what is said about the food is true, that is utterly horrible and disgusting. I don't know how it works in the world, but there's a thing called "Informed Consent", and if what Fuzer said is true, MoW basically did everything in its power to coerce Fuzer into signing a contract against his will without informed consent. Seriously, why the fuck do you need a copy of a "lawyer's credentials", look him up yourself. He has a right to informed consent, and should be able to seek advice from his dog if he wants to. Furthermore, an argument can be made that even if he did sign this contract, it would be void because of the method in which Fuzer would have signed it (no informed consent, coercion by threatening to kick him out, etc.)

It seems like an appropriate amount considering the amenities and computers and the fact that it's a training house.
However, it does totally invalidate any justification for stream revenue sharing.
