It's not just you that "feels" like she overreacted, she overreacted on a level that's barely even concievable by a sane, non-sociopathic person. Someone was talking about her behind her back, so she goes out of her way to destroy that person's livelihood. She's insane.
This is pretty much my reaction too. Cannot understand how people can make out Destiny to be the bad guy here. It was her choice to send the pictures to him, and by sending nude pictures you have to accept they might be shown to other people. Her reaction was over the top, and to be frank I hope he press charges if possible; her mentality is just scary.
What? Cannot understand how people can make out Destiny bad guy here?
Are you fucking kidding right now? Let's say you would send a girl your naked pics, and then u'll hear how she, with her 10+ friends laughs about you, and how ugly u are. Of course you would be pleased, wouldn't you?
TL;DR - Destiny made a dick move - and he received consequences.
Completely incorrect and off base. He made rude comments in a private discussion, she went apeshit and made it public. Completely different.

I think the better question is which one of you two geniuses leaked the comments? That was for the "best of the team" ?

In their eyes they are doing something good, they are attempting to remove bad parts of the scene.
Orly? They're actually bringing down the scene, messaging managers is the most respectful/honest way to get the situation handled that is discrete and doesn't crush eSports infant stage. But maybe stopping the cash flow into eSports is worth "doing something good"
we didn't leak shit jesus christ
I'm calling your bluff. I know bluetea had destiny's email pw that is associated with his twitter, but are you trying to tell me destiny used that same pw for his skype?
You'd be surprised how many people do that. I know at least 2 cases of such people. Same pwd everywhere, be it bnet account, skype or facebook. It is called laziness.

Yeah that must be it...

This dude is hilarious. Takes pics of his junk to send to other girls in his current GF's living room. Needs to ask advice about whether he should bang a 15 year old fan. And then he has the stones to go on reddit and chastise the community and talk about how he's really a good person.

Oh, I know many people use the same pw for everything, but destiny isn't your average non tech person. I can't believe he would be using the same pw for everything.
Hello all, I'd like to thank the dozen or so of you for submitting concerns regarding Destinys recent public behavior. It has not been on our radar until now so we appreciate the opportunity to understand how our company is perceived in association with Steven himself. The principals at Cloud Nine Labs, including myself, remain in support of Stevens PR decisions. Furthermore, we encourage his brutal honesty, snide remarks, controversial comments / subjects, humor etc. as it brings a uniquely dynamic and highly entertaining element to the streaming experience. His strong personality is what makes him Destiny - one of the most successful SC2 streamers of all time. Other SC2 personalities should take a cue from Mr. Bonnell because the SC2 pro circuit is not just "gaming". It has become a powerful industry that can be monetized by establishing a strong, widely talked about brand which Steven has managed to accomplish. In short: stop bitching, change your tampons and up your game.

It sure was when it happened. It was a private conversation. Guess who decided to blow it all up instead of just telling him off personally?
remember this ppl - this is how it starts.. anyone else hearing the money talk? in a few years no one on any team will be allowed to say anything anymore.. (and why is it Stevens fault when others talked sh** and did it where a log was made^^)
So basically girl gets pissed off for being called ugly, invades stevens personal privacy, and harms his career/livelihood. She got her feelings hurt, steven gets his life hurt. Don't get me wrong, ROOT was right to "let go" steven, but I can't believe people are trying to whiteknight for this girl who grossly overreacted with what was probably a good idea of the potential consequences. Also can't believe there are people in here who think the convo was "disgusting" or something, do you guys even live in real life?
