? no, there's got to be a hierarchy. kespa players were fed up with kespa long before this, meaning if they had any power they would have done something. but they didn't = no power.

Both KeSPA and Gom needs to get their shit together, because the fans won't like this one bit. GOM didn't do anything...just read the damn article.

This is just messed up, it honestly shouldnt matter even if it would be round of 4 with all-gsl-players now withdrawing. Seriously. It's about kespa doing the same shit over and over and esf trying to preserve their players freedom by showing kespa how enough is enough. It amazes me how much the "free" players are in support of gomtv and I think it should be, at least, be taken into consideration how much positive feedback esf did get from korean netizens (according to posts earlier in this thread). I believe some people in here only judge the one who (imo) points at the problem (ESF) and not the one who really is the source of the problem (kespa). Please consider this when you make up an opinion regarding this mess. Not only does GOM give player total freedom of where to to play in wich tourneys. They actively try to make shedule changes to accomodate players. Also all the seeds given to foreingers and partnerships with foreign tourney's

I bet Kespa players themselves are secretly rooting for ESF instead. Schedule clashes, overworked are just excuses. If they have more freedom to choose what they want to participate, they can choose what they want to join and not join. Different players have different schedule preferences and amount of stamina. Open competition between tournaments is good for the overall development of e-sports. Weird how nobody comments on MLG getting fucked indirectly too :D

Also, as others mentioned, since the BW scene is bigger than the SC2 scene in Korea, this is a big chance to give some of these EFs players exposure to the new switching scene in Korea. Just sounds to me like a bad thought out retaliation, doing it out of spite or something

AFAIK KeSPA are the sponsors. Essentially, Samsung and the Korean telecom companies are trying to kill the competition. I know what brand my next phone wont be. Edit: I'm really not an expert on the BW scene, but I've heard this stated a couple of times on TL.
