Congrats to EG and Stephano for the deal! Stephano had no problem for living from gaming and travelling with Millenium. The only difference between EG and Millenium is the size of the check, huge or big. But Mill (or other teams) have nothing to learn from EG. Nothing at all. You always have something to learn from your enemy either to improve your management or to watch out for future mistakes. I know french pride is bigger than the Eiffel tower but... some pragmatism is welcome at business. Because we are talking about business isn't it? Also, if Mill has enough, then why didn't they keep him? Yeah, because they can't afford it. Maybe if they had better management, marketing and sponsorship they could. You really don't get it, let me give you an analogy:
It's like asking EG to have their website in French, It would be totally pointless for them and their sponsor. Millenium like the guy above explained you, has sponsors that only focus on France, why the hell would they bother translating their website in english, spanish or german or even providing an english streamer (even if they started doing it just to please viewers that don't bring anything for them, for the moment at least), they would be losing time,money and their focus which the french e-sport scene (once again it may change in the future like their manager already said) but it's just how things are right now.

No surprise EG is taking over the world! I'm just hoping that the other players on EG start to show some results not just rely on Puma, JYP, Stephano (Suppy/Demuslim/Huk/Idra are the next tier but we haven't seen much from iNocontrol/Machine/LZGamer in awhile) It's going to be interesting to see what happens with EG over the next year or so...

Look at LG-IM, probably the best funded Korean pro team and I think all their players get salary, look at how many freaking champions and legends they have also at their very consistant and strong showing.
And then look at EG, the best funded foreign pro team who probably pay their players MORE than LG-IM, and look at the mediocre performances their players put up these days. Hell I think inControl and Machine should just hang up his mouse and keyboard and be a caster full time.
