So Mothership Core is currently 100 Min 50 Gas. So the standard opening for Protoss is going to be Expand-> Gas --> Mothership Core?

I'm so confused why Protoss, the race that already gets punished the least for being out of position, are getting more abilities to stop them being punished for being out of position.

What the fuck is this shit? Why would anyone NOT play Zerg with things like fucking Ultralisk charge or dark swarm + fungal growth + banelings with smart cast. And that fucking Scorpion "get over here"-pull. This will be ridiclous to play in the beta... jesus :E

The viper grabbing tanks animation looks funny and will spawn many, 'GET OVER HERE' jokes in tournaments. Also the Swarm Host is now even creepier/phobia looking than it was last year.

The map they use for the Battle Report looks awesome.

Also I would expect the widow mines to have their timer reduced a few seconds.

Oh, there is no way that nexus recall stays in for energy. It seems like if it stays in you will sacrifice the nexus for it because I cant think of a cost I wouldnt pay for recall including that.

10 real seconds is long. 10 Blizzard seconds is definitely not.

You really think so? Chess has 6 different pieces (6 units!). There are pro chess players and noobies. Both can enjoy the game at their own level. Now imagine if instead it had 12 different pieces, but you could only use 6 (types) in one game. What would that do: well, the pros will play with different pieces than the noobies, basically making it a different game! You don't see anything wrong with that?

The pro's would still use the power. It would cause their opponenent plenty of issues even if it didnt hit which it will sometimes if they arent watching closely.

mothership and carrier removal is stupid just when the game is starting to evolve and were starting to see it in PvZ and PvP lategame. next if mech becomes good then carrriers also become good


some of the most exciting games in history have involved the mothership. its an amazing unit and new GSL protosses using it for recall harassment plus vortex and the cloaking its a great unit and its removal will worsen the game


the mothership core looks simply stupid and protoss doesnt even need these new aiblities


oracle looks like the stupidest unit ever.


swarm hosts are ok i guess

viper and oracle seem kinda dumb

Probably because it's just a demonstration? It's possible that the charge will do ~50 damage in an AoE when it lands, but don't quote me on that.
