07:06 KST - method linked here has been disproved here

10:54 KST - Find a full timeline of pro comments (including Spades) in the topic here.

08:47 KST - Summary:
Accusations of maphacking have the potential to destroy a player's career if left unaddressed. Because of the potential consequences, we should be careful about accepting unproven accusations. The principle of 'innocent until proven guilty' should be applied here. That does not mean that there has been a conclusion about this case, however, which is why this thread remains tentatively open.

Please discuss with caution and use evidence to back up your claims.

I have only one problem : show us the entire replay , not only fragments that you like.

i did post the replay a page or 2 ago. will add to both posts with videos though

Thank you for proving you are pathetic.

1. the lock at same time hotkey spam is not really a hotkey spam open your rageing eyes. He selects all his army in ctrl 1.
2. The move his army exactly when my warp prism comes is like : he knew your army was coming NOT THE WARP PRISM ... but hey you never showed that in your little movies... WHY ?

By the way i watched THE ENTIRE replay and you can see it was logical to move and defend that base.
It is pretty sad that there were 5-6 posts after the replay was posted that say he map hacks and they don't even watch the replay.

User was warned for this post

17:02 You have to rewind the replay to catch the following. But at 17:02 is the exact moment that spades manually selects his 2 dropships at the top to manually control them. During this exact moment his screen is camera locked onto his main's command center.

17:02 Spades manually selects the dropships to give a drop command or what not into alej's base. This is again, one of the most important and 100% pieces of evidence of hacking from this replay.

Spades selects the dropships without ever (in the replay) moving his screen to the dropships. They were not hotkeyed. It is actually 100% technically impossible to box select two dropships from the mini-map.

What this means is, Spade's screen is currently camera locked at his base but he had actually moved his screen to select the two dropships in the empty space to give them new commands.

Sorry bro, he does not select them, they were waypointed already:

You obviously did not read everything i wrote or understand it, or you just don't want to believe it. That is the initial queue command given, go to 17:02, they are manually selected and given new commands. I'd suggest you're going to contradict stuff so strongly you actually know what you are talking about.

We are noobs please show in a vid that we get it as well
I am checking back and forth and now im not 100% convinced this is the proof we are looking for :/
I found him guilty already and also i dont find this.

What replay is it? I want to see for myself, that's pretty amazing if true.

If this is the case, then all those people whining about closing the thread can go fuck themselves. This is why these threads should exist, exposing these kinds of things is a collaborative effort. The 2+2 forums have blown shit wide open that's way bigger than this and it's all thanks to diligent analysis by many people.

Unfortunately, I think you are in the wrong here. The medivacs are already on a multiple move command to go to Point A, and then change direction to go to Point B. Hence, the green line disappears making it look to you as if he re-boxed them and re-rallied them.

Nice try though.

Thanks for your friendly reply >_>

But seriously, I don't see blue circles, and the green waypoint line indeed disappears but I'm fairly certain that line disappears if it's the 'last' part of a waypoint (i.e. no more changes of directions).

Just for the record, I think it's fairly evident from all the stuff the dude does hack, just this piece of '100% evidence' is not correct

Hi, I personally believe the spades hacked, if you read my earlier posts. However I don't see any evidence of him box selecting the medivacs. There isn't any blue selection circle on my screen. About the green rally lines disappearing, I've tested it on medivacs. Say you rally from Point A --> Point B --> Drop @ point C - after Point B, the green rally line disappears when its on the prior queued drop command.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but is the disappearance of the green rally lines the basis of your reasoning that he box selected?

TL;DR - If that was the last MOVE waypoint before the DROP waypoint, the green line will disappear after the you hit the last MOVE waypoint. If that's your reasoning, I don't think the evidence is solid. I still believe he hacked from the difference in camera mechanics.

Glad you cleared that up, I guess we were wrong then. I still think the queuing up drops from the minimap along with a drop command with pinpoint accuracy is a telling thing, considering he never scouted the south base.

I'm checking this, and yes it seems he may not have selected at those points so i'll retract that, but there are still camera locks during those moments with random spamming,, so it's basically the same as from the luci series - he is giving pin point drop commands via the mini-map and then re-adjusting them. The warp prism shiningans later don't help either.

I think the drop towards the south hidden base is a LOT more telling. At 17:11-17:15 you can see him looking through the fog, and then issueing an unload / move command next to the Nexus lol...

In SC2 gears, they do not have a recorded event of him selecting medivacs at 17:02 at least.

This is becoming a bit ridiculous, and I think this thread should be closed. Enough has been said and deliberated about this issue and unless new evidence comes to light that needs discussion, I can't see the benefit of over-analysing things that have already been analysed.

I think the drop towards the south hidden base is a LOT more telling. At 17:11-17:15 you can see him looking through the fog, and then issueing an unload / move command next to the Nexus lol...

I'm glad so many people are now looking at this replay thanks Avilo. Manually readjusting a drop into a hidden base that he has not scouted so that it's out of range of a cannon there and also in between buildings is so improbable that I doubt anyone can watch that one instance without thinking: "This guy hacks."

Edit: It was also perfectly timed to hit at the same time as his second drop (into the main).

Good now we got that false alarm out the way.
It does not add to someone credibility if their claims are proven wrong for future investigations.

Silly question for the broodwar experienced members of TL, but isnt majorly playing via minimap the sort of play that someone did in Broodwar.
