Compared to SC1 SC2 should be mechanically much easier. But unfortunately it is easier for everyone else as well. And I guess it has been proven by millions of not so succesful players such as myself that it is still a real game with a skill cap way above the average (in fact it is infinite). So Flash will need to prove himself in SC2 before he can be called a god in this game. | ||

it's quite simply absurd to assume the current skill cap in sc2 is the same as the one of BW. BW is endlessly harder, and SC2's actually pretty easy and casual (especially regarding macro mechanics). everybody who's played both games knows it. as for this vod, it's everything but impressive. the only impressive thing would be to assume that he's only been playin for 3weeks, which i strongly doubt. still, it's Flash, and it turns me on to see him on the newer scene of esport. i just hope he doesn't get owned by late game toss gayness in his first major tournament, cause that would most definitely make me break something :-) | ||

It's not (only) because his mechanics, but mainly because his understanding of the game. That is his main strenght, but also his main weakness. Proof of that is that TvP played during last SPL in which he lost because he cancelled a single turret. When I say SC2 should be easy for him its not because I'm saying BW is strategically superior to SC2, but because he's a genius who understands the game he is playing. | ||

He clearly has way more than 3 weeks under his belt. But even so, it will be interesting to see how he can do against the SC2 pros. | ||
