I personally don't play ladder to often, because I like to focus on one matchup at a time, and get good at it.

I assume only a couple of mappools would be popular (GOM, KeSPA, TeamLiquid?).

No way, VALVe has one of the worst customer services in the game bro.

Who's to say these won't be patched into WoL for free? Also 95% (randomly pulled out of thin air, but probably not far from the truth) of people on TL who play SC2 would've been buying HotS with or without these features, so they're just happy about getting the features in the first place.

Well, I still have not bought SC2, and don't intend to buy HotS unless they actually keep their recent promises, fix a couple of other BNet issues, and actually fix gameplay. So not everyone. ;p

Now i like to give Blizzard a hard time for a lot of things but that is just wrong. They have worked on WOL for 2 years now, from balance to engine improvements. Verry few companies do that, for free. Verry cool stuff. The global play thing is especially consumer friendly since a lot of people bougth multiple copies for different regions it would have been absured to have to buy multiple copies of HOTS and LOTV. The unranked "ladder" games will hopefully bring back a lot of players that have ladder "fear". So, Chris Sigaty is the good guy lol.

The only thing that companies charge for are add-ons (DLC's).... I have not see any company that charges for their own patches... If so, do tell. Anyways, this is fucking awesome! Finally they have told the community what they will do for HoTS and it is what we all wanted. Browder said they could not add LAN due to the engine, so if you want LAN wait 4 years for LoV (it is not going to happen, but i hope lag will deteriorate in the coming years... and i think he said it when Catz was interviewing him last year). Clan support and Unranked ladder is just damn great! Can't wait for HoTS! Thank you blizzard for listening to what the community wants!

It's a huge step towards the right direction but we must not lose perspective and start hugging and thanking Blizzard when thy are doing basic simple stuff with 2 years delay.

LAN was available in playable alpha, from what I remember...

Again, very few companies support their games as much as Blizz (bw, d2 for what? 10 years for free) Others support the games through things like DLC (DLC at lunch...WTF??) while most just give up on games after a few months or a year and release a "new" version that's basicaly the same with minor improvements. Just my opinion.

Now you are trying to fool people into thinking you're some white knight because you listen to the community. You're a joke. I hate to say it but I pretty much agree... Blizzard has the community doing so much of the work for them, even the resume game from replays if I am not mistaken was a community built idea.

It would be an awesome practice tool if you could pick what race you want to face in unranked matches. Wonder though how the randoms will practice ![]()
