There's been a lot of hype about the legendary, "god-like" BW competitors moving over to SC2. This is more than understandable when you consider the caliber of the players. I too, am just as excited. However, many of us are curiouse about how this will affect the scene that we all have built together already. How will KeSPA affect the SC2 scene? Will it work out for the best? To assume that there will be a smooth transition is a child's novel thought. There will most deffinately be a level of conflict and turmoil. The question is "how long will it last?" Will the companies of SC2 be affected in a big way? Will some of them be bought out, die out? There has been a very strong effort to help this transition blend as smoothly as possible. The Esports Federation seems to be it. The ability to comat KeSPA in a legal manor by simply uniting under one name to ensure that everyone is treated equaly. On top of that, Blizzard has formaly recognized the Esports Federation. I hope every day that this transition goes as planned. Many of us have put this by the way side and are hoping for the best. We should not be waiting, but acting. Just because one select groupe of people have made an effort does not meen that we have been relieved of our duty to help carry our share of the load. -Tommy- REFLEX_500

We should rage at them for putting in features we have been asking since beta. That's the way to do it! Appreciation shows weakness!

Brood war/ Lord of Destruction/ The Frozen Throne didn't add that much content to the game besides some new singleplayer stuff and some new units/classes etc. Yet we all bought the expansions. What's different about the way SC2 is doing it? It's 2 expansions (~$40 a piece) over the span of 3-4 years.

The difference between then and now is all the cool stuff was in the original game, now that stuff is used as incentive to purchase the expansion. Why do I get the feeling this has been their plan all along. Before the community even started commenting about it.

I was looking for the complainer, i didn't think someone would still find a way to complain about this but i was to foolish and naive. But after this besides unit balances i don't think people will have a reason to complain. Essentially Blizzard if fixing everything i can think of non actual game play wise On May 08 2012 09:40 magnaflow wrote: The difference between then and now is all the cool stuff was in the original game, now that stuff is used as incentive to purchase the expansion. I don't see how that is good marketing but i'm not a business guy so perhaps im wrong
