I will not write a lot about what I'm doing in that mod, title of that topic wall say all. Simply mod, that makes Battle.Net UI transparent. I did two variations of transparency - 50% and 75%. But I think, 75% sometimes is more nice, especially if you have custom background with Dropship, that flashes, or Char planet, that makes everything red and adds some of HotS atmosphere.

How to install
1) Download Battle.net-patch.MPQ and put it to \StarCraft II\Battle.net\..here... Make backup of original file!
2) Launch game
P.S. It will erase all custom backgrounds. But you can make your custom backgrounds transparent too, just do it in any graphical editor, like Photoshop. Fill custom background with 50% or 75% alpha-channel and you will have exact same result.

Same safe, as if you have Stronger Team Color mod, that already used by many streamers, including top and non-top players.

No way. Ingame UI is a 3D animated model, that I don't know, how to change, and it's not need really, because it's good as it is now.

Yeah works fine here. Perhaps you have some ad blocking software which works with your HOSTS file (I know HostsMan does this), i.e. it will be the same in all browsers. Not very likely, but you could take a look in the %windir%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file and see if it contains anything other than the commented instructions.

This might sound dumb, but will it use more cpu from the menu screen? It's already has as it is.

I'm having the same problem. Just completely white page. I tried with ad-block on and off and in two different browsers (Firefox and Safari, most recent version of each)

Been using his dropship background for 2 seasons i think so far, not banned if that helps you. 
Edit : been using 2 75%'s link and they seem to be exactly the same files as the original one... There's nothing changed when i replace them (and yes that's the correct folder because there are 2 MPQ files and when i get rid of the other i get a blank background with no log in windows).
Edit 2 : currently trying existor's suggestion.
Edit 3 : Okaaaaaaaaay. The 50%'s link works. Not the 75% because it's exactly the same from the original one. I think you uploaded the wrong MPQ's file :p

Have you any mods, installed before? Try to delete other mods, or move them away from current game client. Also, try repair your game and revert it to fully default before installing mod.

I think, it will not use more CPU just because your CPU already renders that 3D background. Those pictures are only static images, that got some transparency.
WHat about CPU loading, when Battlecruiser comes, you can replace battlecruiser with other backgrounds. Some of them are less FPS intensive, especially background with clear space.
