That's pretty ridiculous when combined with recharging energy from minerals and fungals from Infestors. If T has an effective way to kill them (vikings could serve this purpose, esp since zerg doesn't really have anit-air) then it would be very similar to swarm vs irradiate, which was both awesome and very balanced.

It's because Terran's have been begging for mech viability in TvP. If blizzard changes anything about Terran in HoTS, it has to be that.

![]() I don't disagree, but it would involve rebalancing everything in the game. You'd need a major expansion or something to do that.

But I am not really sure why they don't like the warhound, in theory it sounds like a great unit. It has mechanical DPS so you can actually mech TvP, and it allows mutas to be more effective lategame, and less effective early game which is the exact problem the thor creates of to much splash. I think blizzard is trying to hard to make a new unit and not realizing they already have a good one, it just needed to be downsized. I don't really know what to think of the long ranged missile launcher, it just sounds silly. I can see how the new tempest could be great for broodlord fights, but not sure about how it fits. I don't like how they kept mass recall on the nexus either. Toss already has force fields to prevent bad engagements it doesn't want (see parting's FF usage). Why are they adding a mechanic that is so forgiving to the game, it just seems dumb. I am also surprised burrowed moving banelings and ultralisk charge were not mentioned, I was sure they would be taken out. I might be stretching an idea to much, but I feel those two combined with this disruption web spell, could make Terran biomech rather impossible for TvZ. I just don't see how a Terran biomech can survive against that, currently Zerg's go for Infestor, Blord, corrupter and then transition to mass ultras. If you pummeled your opponent with Disruption web, Fungal and burrowed ultras seems to much. Glad the oracle is still in, its an amazingly well designed unit. Also seems as if the battle hellion is still around which is great for meching players. I am just worried that the game is becoming to much about spellcasters. Toss are beginning to use Templars more than Collosus, Zerg are using Infestor instead of mutas. Now their is discussion on a Terran missile caster. An almost confirmed zerg 2nd caster....Just seems silly when you win battles by pressing T T T or F F F F a bunch of times.

I guess I just want my lurkers back, You're giving the Swarm Host way too much credit. I would much rather have a shittier version of the Lurker over the Swarm Host. The Swarm Host literally serves no purpose other than parking it outside of the opponents base so it can spawn one beetle that is somehow more durable than a Hydralisk. Blizzard is doing a pretty poor job at making dynamic units in SC2.
