How about making tanks and hellions actually useful? Make pure mech actually stronger than tier 1?

You'd need a major expansion or something to do that. Good thing we have two major expansions and plenty of time to maximize excitement before rebalancing.

I mean you could use them vs protoss and just convert them into battle mode when all the zealots are cleaned up.

Didn't you hear they renamed the carrier to the tempest? Why does zerg need another micro heavy caster? We already have the infestor. Glad to see the Zerg detection cost didn't skyrocket. (they didn't make it the Viper) I just don't get them saying Protoss needing an air seige unit to force engagements. Doesn't the collosi do that just fine already? awesome awesome nidus worms

No it doesnt Blizzard just want to add another way to beat protoss ! You can still use mmm and troll all the way to master league !! lol

The very first Tempest was a Carrier replacement that had a strong GtA shield (with no AtA shield) and fired Shurikans instead of Intercepters. That was nixed because everyone wanted their damn Carrier back. So for HotS, they added a new Tempest, which they're replacing with a Carrier wannabe. Which I can almost guarantee will just be reverted into a Carrier with a few changes.

The Swarm Host literally serves no purpose other than parking it outside of the opponents base so it can spawn one beetle that is somehow more durable than a Hydralisk. Blizzard is doing a pretty poor job at making dynamic units in SC2. why don't you try it on the custom map, new lurker can break siege lines no problem at all. those spawns hurt like hell btw, did they scrap dark swarm?

Make pure mech actually stronger than tier 1? Because then there'd be no reason to use Tier 1, and the game would turn into a clone of SC1. Every game would be the Terran turtling till they get a couple of STs out and can take their first expo. We had 12 years of that crap. At least bioballs are new. I like that Tier 2 is at best a suppliment to Tier 1 rather than a replacement. Every other race relies on their Tier 1 thoughout the game. Why should Terrans have an entire building's worth of units that is completely worthless?

Also Zerg doesn't need another caster if you gonna keep Overseer. Just give Overseer blinding cloud and this mineral-feeding thingy (which is nice), and give Infestor Abdupt by removing Neural Parasite (which sucks nowadays). Do that and we can start BETA!:D

I hope it requires ~150 energy and has a pretty small radius, closer to recall than mass recall. If it was like that I think it would be a good addition. It would also add more use for having more bases if you play protoss. Hmmm...

Replicator and Shredder getting the axe, everyone saw that coming. Good to hear they're working on factory units. Bioballs are getting old.
