It looks like TB's Tophat is gonna win. Now my question is: what exactly is TB's Tophat in terms of memedom? Is it just that he wears this tophat every once in a while? I want to understand this meme, but I've never heard this one referenced ever. I mean, it beat 'Artosis pylon', which is a very prevalent meme in the community, and is looking like it is going to beat Idra Rage, which obviously has generated many a meme, so there clearly must be some sort of hidden meme that I am missing. Explanation please.

He has a large non-sc2 fan base.
But the main reason is that he is avenging the loss of the Decorah Eagles.
