I don't really mind the current changes, they just made things easier. Never saw a reason to make phoenix easier against mutas (but phoenix control takes alot of your time, so its a nice lategame lazyness buff) or make it easier for zerg to mess up a terran with tech switches(the snipe nerf should have the highest impact on low level, where tech switches are easier to pull off for zerg). On high level i think not to much will change, just that people will add marauders after a certain ghost amount. And that zerg will wonder why their infestors suddenly seem so ineffective. So yeah i guess this patch will bite zerg in the ass along with terran (who will get a problem against mass zealots). Oh and more terrans will drop down in rank all over the ladder up to diamond. My personal tvz style just got buffed atleast. Anyway the current patch came out of observation and internal testing by Blizzard, so i wonder if the terran testers have some sort of trick, that allows him to snipe broodlords and ultras still with 25 damage and still win the game. Or if the zerg just have no idea what he is doing. (a transfuse now blocks 5 snipes 125 energy vs 50, so you can fail with more then the half of your transfuses) I will miss my science vessel in sc2 atleast. But its blizzards game :3 and if they want tvz to look like tvp, they can have it. (Bio vikings vs deathball) | ||

Snipe was good against ultras and BLs, but all they had to do was tone down the damage against just those two, as snipe was completely fine against everything else it could possibly be used on. qxc's suggestion (do less damage to massive, as ultras are massive and I believe BLs are too, but if they're not then blizzard could've just made a simple change to that as well) was at face value the best solution. The fact that Blizzard just did a massive nerf to it shows that they really have no clue about the metagame. Now the only things snipe is even worth using on can be EMP'd anyway. | ||

OK - Browder, Kim u guys wanna butt-fuck ghosts sans lube, FINE. At least do minus damage to massive so ur FIXING the perceived FUCKING problem, not RUINING an entire fucking unit and IMO and entire fucking matchup lategame (and the best MU at that!). The only hope is that the nerf is such overkill that Terrans just lol die and it gets fixed. I say Fuck blizzard and fuck anyone who thinks this patch is Kosher. Ban me. I dont give a fuck.
