i don't get why the snipe dmg against psionic is changed from 45 to 50. if i'm not mistaken every psionic unit needs exaclty as many snipes with 45 as it does with 50 dmg

you are mistaken it takes 3 snipes to kill an infestor and 3 snipes to kill an ghost, with the new patch you can 2 shot both and you could always 2 shot the templar so it doesnt really change that

Infestors have 90 hp according to liquipedia. do they heal so fast that you need 3 with 45 dmg?

Once a zerg unit drops below full health the regeneration kicks in nearly instantly, restoring 1hp and then starting regeneration. If you don't connect the next snipe nearly instantly it *will* survive the second.
That is not dead which can eternal lie...

MULEs - Now everyone will have to learn not to call down mules on high yield which is terrible. The mule and the high yield have to be treated separately, high yield should be removed from the game completely and mule balanced differently – put in on a cooldown, make it a temporary “upgrade” to a selected SCV (Meaning, no SCVs, no mules), or whatever.

Snipe – I’d rather say broodlords are badly designed but this doesn’t sound that bad.

Phoenix range – I don’t like that at all, phoenix is strong enough and zerg needs the late game mass mutalisk option.

APM and CPM – Great, now we can have fun comparing the two . Looking at the Thor debacle this is much better than “Have A, then change to B, B doesn’t work, revert to A”.

Nobody builds Ghost in TvT because they have no function especially after the patch theres zero reason to build a Ghost in TvT. ( aside from mb 1-2 for occasional nukes but nobody would build Ghosts to snipe those Ghosts ... ) They could've changed it to 46 just to spite the Terrans and showing them how little this + damage actually means.

I think the snipe nerf is a really good change, because with the mouse wheel trick it would have been absolutely impossible to play against Terran late-game, because ghosts would have been able to : rape ultralisks/broodlords TvZ (it changes nothing in TvP where ghosts are already really powerful if played well).
I don't even know why Terran players are whining about "oh god we've nothing to deal with broodlords/ultra lategame etc-etc", they've plenty of efficient tools to deal with, like vikings for BL or marauders for ultras (for the ones who'll say "infestors rape vikings", well, you have...ghosts), but most importantly, you have seeker missile, or even nukes. Morrow showed it against leenock, and it worked rly well. I think it's kinda viable against BL because, even if players say "raven is fucking gaz heavy", well guess what, BL too, so, seems a good idea, I hope we'll see more ravens TvZ.

But for the phoenix upgrade, I think it's bullshit. Maybe it could be useful, yeah, we'll see more FB, maybe transition into mothership/carriers, but seriously, in mid-game, if the upgrade is 100/100, are you gonna pay 400/300 for an upgrade which is gonna be completely useless if Z has just planned to use some mutas to take map control and do little harass ? If they scout that you're getting the upgrade, they just have to stop muta production and you're screwed, so to me it's absolutely not viable.

The MULE change is really great (from a protoss pov), because imo, in order of which race gets the most income the fastest possible, its Zerg > Terran > Protoss, and the difference between protoss and terran was huge (while minimal between zerg and terran), now it's more balanced so that's cool (but I still feel that mules give a too high bosst to the terran's income, should be nerfed a bit)

Back in the day the standard build was dark pylon, pylon gateway. (Dark pylon had a MULE ability that made all your probes harvest 1 more mineral) that was so OP I'd like that over my current MULEs
