Since I suppose we have no choice about vile being in the tournament, I'll look forward to watching them get all killed in every set they play. I'm sure well over half the people that voted for them won't even tune in since they were just told to go here and vote by husky and have no clue what the eg cup is or any other tournament.

That's fine, I'd probably be watching anyway had a different team won. Difference being had ATTN or millanium won I probably would be watching a close series, while here I'll be watching vile get stomped because they're not on the same level as every other team that's invited so far except for maybe MAYBE dignitas.

Go Vile!
Anyone else worried about the format? 15 games per set possibly?

Haha what?
Vile has beaten Digi and NsHseo (however you spell it), barely lost to FXO, etc
What has Millenium done in clan wars? I can't speak to Attn, but I haven't heard much about them either in regards to TLs

I don't see the problem. Actually many differents points have been developped through this thread and they are all far above the idea you made here. One of them, for instance, was that some people were criticizing the fact that some people that would have no knowledge and no interest in neither Vile nor EGMC could still express their vote here because they got told by someone else, for instance Husky and Psy. That was one concern and it is beyond any consideration of skill or popularity, since it actually ruins the idea (wether it is legitimate or not is another question) of popularity related to the actual team selected (as you can be a fan of Husky without knowing or giving a damn f about Vile and vice versa), so the idea of getting a poll to bring a corresponding viewership to the cup is already compromised from an organisator's pov. And that point singularly dismisses yours, as it has nothing to do with a viewer's pov. And what about Millenium telling people who visit their site (and might now watch SC2) to come and vote for them? #hypocrisy Show nested quote +You make yourself a great help when you call your syllogisms a logic. I'm pretty sure fans of Millenium might be fans of Millenium, while fans of Husky might not be fans of Vile.
#fail analogy
Now about your absurd reasoning, you basically did this: make an off-topic (talking about teamleagues when I made sure to talk about relevant events to mesure achievements) innacurate (Millenium went far in some teamleagues like 4PL, but for someone misinformed and not afraid to expose its ignorance that may not be a problem for you) and fallacious (A>B>C) statement, recognize its lack of logic, and somehow by the only deciding factor of your good will claim that's similar to my point, without showing anything to would dismiss it, and even recognize that both your example and my point have nothing to do with each other. I called out your clowning, and you still dig further in your hole? Your lack of logic will only show that you can't make a proper statement, if our arguments hold a different logic, from the fallacy of yours you can't claim the fallacy of mine, so why bother trying unless you want to make sure everybody reading this thread acknowledged that you have no grasp about logic notions?

If this is indeed because of a Husky rally, I've got to give him Kudos. When I checked half a day ago there seemed to be little doubt about Millenium taking it, with aTn at least putting up a fight.
IMVHO Husky did a favor to vile and a huge disservice to everyone else. In terms of competition, M# would have been the better call, likely even more promising than some of the teams who got invited.

Fans of Millenium SC2? No not necessarily. Nice try though.
Err, how is talking about teamleagues offtopic when this thread is about a teamleague?
And 4PL? Yeah, with such competition as Team Sc2Replays.dk or Exilits Legion. For all this skill they managed to finish 4th, behind the actual known teams in the tournament (ESC, IMBA.FXO)
And, I'm clowning. What was your arguement again?...something about a popularity contest being unfair...err Ahh that's right. You're just upset that your team didn't get in either. Guess what, neither did mine! (I voted for Light) But you don't see me pouting about it.

Aren't they still announcing two more teams? People need to chill out and just enjoy.

I think this was more of a vilePsY rally than a Husky rally actually.

Yeah millenium did a news to tell theirs fan to go vote but how can you compare that with vile getting a video on youtube and a thread on #1 page reddit?
Whatever, i will watch the tournament anyways for sure, but that's not really fair.

Or that neither aping yourself out of the argument is ever a way to back up your claims, nor expressing a voluntarly fallacious argument and claiming its similarity in a totally unfounded and inacurate fashion with another point that has nothing do to with a it a legit way to conclude of its own singular fallacy.
