not to mention there are tons of free to play games out there that are insanely good. This is a coaster anyway, sooner or later, blizzard will be something like EA, and then something like .... techland will become the new blizzard... The important part is to always be awake so you dont buy games that you dont actually like :D. | ||

you are not even able to create your own chatroom in d3 ... blizzard could improve bnet sooo much in only 1 year, but they don't and the reason has to be connected with money imo it's so sad when you know how much better bnet 2 could be if they would actually try :/ | ||

For example: If the whole community decides to just send an email each to Blizzard, where we complain about this and how bad the UI is compared to WC3, SC1 and even DOTA2's UI. We could also copy/paste the main points in this thread and a link to this thread and let Blizzard know that WE WANT CHANGE! | ||

You cant mod chat channels, but I doubt that would make people want to use them. Dont blame SC2 on the fact that you have no friends. Its true people dont socialize on chat channels very much, but the community has changed. People still playing SC2 are try hard. They mostly want to ladder. BW didnt really have an official ladder. The unofficial ladders had problems themselves. It took more time to find games. The matchmaking wasnt nearly as even. The system could be cheated (see Combat-Ex) and in many of them you had to report your games, including a reply. If you forgot to save that replay, that was it. It was gone forever. The Dota 2 UI looks about the same as SC2. I do wish Blizzard let you upload your own picture, but you can understand the're concerns. Profile Pictures play a more prominent role. Im not intersted in seeing some fat chicks infected vagina everyday, everytime I ladder. Dota 2 has no dedicated tab for replays. Its not clear to me even at this time were the replays are stored. SC2 tells you right away. You click "Show in folder". If you need to organize a match, you have a perfectly suited chat channel, minus mod functionality. if you need to discuss something, such as "This UI sucks!" post on TL. If you want to socialize, whatever that means, you can meet people on TL or ingame. And if your really lonely I suggest you 1) get a grilfriend(or more if 1 isnt enough) 2) drink more, smoke more, pick your poison 3) kill youself 4) Go play LoL | ||

I ve heard: 1)Mods Valid point. A minor one though. I dont feel they are needed. They were mostly about meaningless status anyways. TL may need mods, they contribute in lots of ways. Aside from spam, which isnt a problem, what type of moderation is needed in chat channels? 2)Slash commands Dont save as much time as you think, every feature they have in BW is included in some other form 3)I feel lonely There is not chat immediatly hitting you in the face when you log in. SC2 feels less underground, less esoteric. I agree that you can feel less special, less important than in BW. Is that a bad thing? | ||
