You are being emailed by one of the last modders who is still around in the Blizzard Custom Mod Community who can make your premium content. Some of us dropped literally thousands of dollars to make modding content for the player base in the spirit that has glowed for over a decade in previous Blizzard games. Its obvious now that our effort was wasted. This guy has some legitimate reasons to be pissed but it's a little over the top to think they are purposely creating a broken popularity system for customs. The Blizzard decision-makers don't know what it's like to be a mapmaker on in their system. They probably don't play many customs, either melee or true custom maps. I think if enough custom players and mapmakers explain their experiences there's a chance of getting through to them... | ||

I was thinking about all this today, and was wondering : How COOL would it be if as a high diamond player I could find a high diamond clan, playing and training with other high diamonds player, and making clan wars versus other clans, and then work hard to make my clan stronger. Then I even thought about a clan ranking, with ladder games of each member raising or lowering the clan standing, making it go up and down through leagues as solo players do.... That would surely make me more motivated to play the game, and in the end buy the SO FAR AWAY "complete game" that will come in 2014 with legacy of the void... Because as things are right now, season 1, 1000 games played, season 2, 600, season 3, 200, season 4, 150, and so it goes. I played likes 40 games this season, and It's everytime a little bit harder to go online and play more thatn 1 or 2 games in a row... Blizzard, react. | ||

Cosmic Eclipse Don't know if anyone ever played it once the map system was so broken. Made this post about a year ago: How Blizzard Created a massive mod community with Warcraft III, Killed it with SC2, and why you should care I think the starcraft 2 modders knew ahead of any other blizzard fans that the company had gone full greed. *edited for doucery* sorry, the bullshit blizzard pulled against the greatest mod community ever still fires me up. | ||

But I liked how Bnet 1chat was all connected? (dont know word to describe it) Like I could go on some channel like "clan asdf" and chat with my WC3 online friends while I was playing BW. This was another feature I had liked | ||
