Discussing the controversy and stating your opinions in a constructive way is fine, but there will be bans for any player/organization bashing without anything to substantiate it.

OMG I say down with TSL. They are always causing drama. It's no wonder everyone tries to leave the team.

I can't say, as I'm not remotely involved with Fnatic in any way.

Mostly in these cases everything is so misunderstood. The other team is protecting their players and if something looks fishy ( which doesn't need to be something at all ) can be easily mistaken. I think fnatic and Coach lee will just discuss this privately and just sort it out.

I don't see what's wrong with Fnatic approaching aLive while he was under contract. They acknowledged his contract with TSL, and they didn't try and recruit him while under contract, they merely negotiated. You don't need to go to the management of a company to negotiate. The only really morally ambiguous thing here, is aLive's loyalty, and nothing else. He didn't breach his contract, and neither did Fnatic make him breach his contract.

In my opinion, communication between the companies is only mandatory when one company would be seeking to buy the contracted party out of his contract. aLive was going to leave TSL before joining Fnatic eitherway. There was no breach of contract anywhere. There is nothing saying that Fnatic wasn't going to try and buy him out of the contract; it didn't happen because the Coach decided to raid the personal communication of aLive.

Also, doesn't TSL's lack of ability to hold on to their players make you think that aLive has a good reason for wanting out?

To me, it seems like TSL has some issues regarding player transfers. Why is it only TSL that has these problems while others don't? What is, for example, oGsTL doing that TSL isn't? Why can oGs and TL transfer players without issues?

Other teams have handled transfers just fine. Inori from FXO, TanDongHo from ZeNex, Oz/Twilight from foU.

One difference is that TSL's players have been higher profile, but with the Puma transfer, he only had one notable tournament on his record, the NASL. You couldn't have called him a big-name player back then, he only showed up in team leagues and never made it into code A.

I'd like to hear from someone from TL about how the Zenio transfer went, and to the best of their knowledge, how it compared to the Puma/aLive "transfers". I understand Coach Lee has a good reputation on TL.net, having the same kind of incident happen again raises a few questions.

Oz is formally known as Twilightfou. When he transferred over to FXO he changed his name to Oz.

Do the non-korean speaking representative represent fnatic to korean players?
It could just be a friendly conversation, but if the translator is employed by fnatic and is talking about joining fnatic, it's hard to not conclude that he is representing fnatic. Whether that was his intent or not, this interpretation of events should have been obvious.

I think you might be missing my point. FXO accquired Oz/Twilight while they were training in the fou house and Oz was originally fou. It's almost identical to what happened here, except for Oz being a complete unknown back then and Alive being a known quantity.

I suggest taking things with a grain of salt and not making any conclusions or taking sides until all the evidence is out.
No one has to or should defend anyone or take sides until everything is cleared up with facts and evidence.
Nothing wrong with discussing the topic in the meanwhile however.

I haven't actually read your previous posts. I was just correctly the mistake that "Oz was not a fou member." So I don't know what you guys are discussing.

Man, I don't even know what to make of this. It doesn't seem like either side was trying to pull one over on the other. Maybe just tension from similar events being so underhanded that it simply got blown out of proportion?

Oz was a coach at fOu playing just one game in the GSTL until he got picked up by FXO.
