I tried the new installer, which threw a bunch of error messages my way. (The linked picture shows both the error messages and my SC2 directory.) When I tried Loomings, it gave me no objectives, when I tried Rebel Yell, it played the game's opening cinematic and then crashed, saying it was unable to open the map. Edit: I unzipped the mod and maps files manually and copied them into their respective directories (so basically I did the first part of the manual install process). Now it seems to work fine, even when I start it through the shortcut on my desktop, created by the erroneous former install process. I just played through both the Loomings and Rebel Yell Boot Camps and everything worked perfectly.

Negatives: -Xel'Naga Temple able to be selected like a unit when drawing a box on Protoss Mission X8, instead of like a building. -Fenix Dragoon does not correctly play attack animation (tested on Protoss Mission 08) -Old icons still remaining for Arbiter and Reaver. -Lurkers don't have glowing eyes (tested on Zerg Mission 10) -Arbiters can be made without Arbiter Tribunal (tested on Protoss Mission 10) -Select Army does not select Terran units on Protoss Mission 10. -Error displayed for psi/supply in Protoss Mission 10. -Duran/InfestedDuran portrait chitchat animation is super long. -Skipping the intro for Terran Mission X7 has your starting units surrounding Duran instead of the marines lined up, and a copy of controllable marines/medics in the bottom right corner of the map outside the base. -UED Siege Tanks change to old Siege Tank protrait briefely when transforming. -Dark Origins briefing room is glitchy? Not sure if on purpose. -Using Select Army does not select Infested Duran. -Mind Controlling workers and building things/units does not cost resources (tested on Porotoss Mission X8) -Mind Controlling units and building supply/control units/buildings does not count towards your total or count as "your units" in SOME missions, but works correctly in others. Can be seen when using TerribleTerribleDamage cheat and checking unit damage.(tested on Protoss Mission X8(buggy) and Dark Origins(working as intended)) Positives: -Stukov Portrait much better than previous versions. -Maps much more detailed/balanced/overall beautiful than previous versions. -Terran Mission X6 intro is cheesy as hell and fucking perfect, please don't change it. -UED unit skins are excellent addition. -Durans unit/portrait way better than previous versions. -Information Popups for new units/characters/etc are really cool. -Options for unit sounds is bitchin'. Suggestions: -Carriers/Shuttles all turn very slowly and should be sped up a little so they fly sideways less. Dropships also do this, but not sure if it's an edited model or the way Medivacs usually turn. -Give Duran minor eye glow effect for Dark Origins ending cutscene. -Option to have LOTV Dragoon and projectile over SCMR Dragoon and projectile. -Add fluff/expanded text when mouse-over mission objectives in-game. Sorry for text wall and sorry if wrong section.

Checking installation... The following files were not found: "1. Rebel Yell\Terran09b.SC2MAP", "Mods\SCMRcore.sc2mod", SCMRmod Retro Edition not found (NOT REQUIRED). If you wish to play the Retro Edition, make sure you've downloaded and placed it in your install directory. If it's there, it might be broken, try redownloading. See that you've copied all the archives to your Starcraft 2 install directory. Happens to all of us =) Then I go to run the mod and it sits on a blank space map where I can't do anything, I've downloaded all six files and ran the setup file. I've downloaded all six files, plopped them into my SC2 folder, and I still get the error.

Perhaps you have an older version of Mass Recall in your computer's downloads? This can mess with the installer sometimes.

On that same topic of "reminiscent of the originals," I don't know if you guys have seen these yet, but they look amazing and it would really unify everything to have splash screens like this, or at least an option to implement them. A small bug that I've found as well: F10>Q brings you to the quit screen, and the "t" key is highlighted as the hotkey to exit to the SCMR menu, but it didn't do anything for me. I play on the Grid hotkey setup, so maybe that broke it, but if you could implement a fix for that, it'd be wonderful. I'm going to hop back in and keep enjoying this masterpiece of a product, though. Thank you guys so much for your hard work.

The comsat station can't be selected at all with drag-selection: https://gfycat.com/CompetentFailingBats Normally, units can be selected by just roughly intersecting them: https://gfycat.com/FickleWelllitDogfish It also affects dropships: https://gfycat.com/BowedSatisfiedFowl and Carriers. It's problematic for me because I play with a low framerate and my cursor lags a bit so even though I try to draw boxes properly over the units, sometimes if I'm playing too fast the box doesn't quite go past the unit's center point so I select nothing. Normally this isn't a problem because my selection box still intersects the unit and therefore I can select them. It's a little bit frustrating having to adjust to this when playing SCMR. Hope this can be fixed.

Overall ---------- - Trying to go back to the main menu still results in a "Unable to open map" error, returning to the main StarCraft II menu. This might be an issue on my end. I had to change the map's name for my custom launcher file to work. And since I don't remember how I did it in the first place, nor am I sure how to edit it now... Help? - There's no option to quit to Windows. - On the main menu, the icon to select the extra missions is briefly displayed with the main campaign icon. This reverts to normal after pressing it for the first time. - A cold opening where you can see the planet you're about to enter, as featured on Ressurection IV would be a really amazing addition. This could be used for the first mission featured on such planet. Loomings -------------- Den of the Beast - Cerberus Firebats are not acknowledged as the main units in the army and are surpassed by rescued Marines. Force of Arms - Duke's siege tank avatar reverts back to StarCraft II's siege tank whilst transforming. Rebel Yell --------------- - Boot Camp 64 is missing. (Intentional but would be appreciated) - Officer Training is missing. (Intentional but would be appreciated) Overmind -------------- The Dark Templar - This might have been intentional, but when you exterminate the Protoss bases, that mission parameter does not get crossed; and a new objective does not appear for facing Tassadar. The Fall ------------ The Hunt for Tassadar - Losing all units before reaching the Protoss base does not result in a loss. The result is an unwinnable situation where you cannot control anything. Into the Darkness - Doesn't have a third person mode. (Intentional but would be appreciated) Stukov Mission Pack ------------------------------- - Deception is missing. (Intentional but would be appreciated) Ressurrection IV - Does not have a "Return to SCMR Main Menu" option.
