Some foreigners can still compete but unfortunately they probe rushed a game and now GSL is mad at them so they won't get a code S seed
they need to stop giving code S seeds to foreigners regardless of the whole Naniwa thing. It undermines the entire tournament that they give out these charity seeds, and it makes foreigners looks bad by simple association to these horrible, one-sided matches. Foreigners that want to compete in the GSL should qualify, just like Koreans. And the same goes for Koreans wanting to play in MLG
Nope wrong bbzzzt fail you lose gg no re.
None of the big name GSL players have been edged out because of foreigners.

him playing poorly is worse than naniwa throwing away a game intentionally? what planet are you from?
Show me one point in this last two matches where Idra really screwed up? If he didn't want to play these games he shouldn't. This was "Fuck you" in the face for ESV TV.
i didn't say he screwed up, i said he played poorly. losing 4-0 is a poor performance. i dont understand your point for the last two sentences, so i wont comment.

If you are just slightly off with any timing against a very good Terran, he will make you look retarded. It was perfect control timing and macro by Taeja and he hit IdrA hard in every game.
IdrA probably didn't show his best games there, but its stupid to hate on him. Taeja is very very good Terran player and I think Terran is the strongest race / race that can profit the most from playing it very good. You just cannot do as much stuff and gain as much with Zerg , but with Terran you can.
It is very hard to play but if you are as good as Taeja... this is how it looks, even vs very good Zergs. Stop the hate, ggs.
Looking forward to the next games.
In game2 he played really dumb how he refused to re-spread his creep and kept engaging with ling/banelings off creep which recudes their cost effectiveness by sooo much, I didnt watch the rest of theg ame so can't comment on that, but I wouldn't be suprised if that what happend the other games aswell with his bling/muta style.

^This. "Good games," as defined by some watchers usually includes players who are at a similar level. If a Code S played against some Bronze player, nobody would watch, but if two Bronze-level players were going at it (probably a terrible, terrible example) at least the playing field would be even.
Generally, 1-sided domination isn't fun to watch, or maybe that's just me.
people need to stop looking for excuses for IdrA, he isnt on TaeJa's level and he is not even of the best foreigners i like IdrA but his performance tonight was really embarrasing, a lot of fans stayed up to watch this game and this is what they got
30 minute slowmode. What in the hell are mods thinking? THERE ARE LITERALLY 30 MINUTES OF SLOW MODE. WHY EVEN HAVE A CHAT? You can't even communicate with people except to say petty comments here and there!
Meh. Anyway, good job Taeja. His play looked unstoppable.

although i agree with you, the likely result is that less koreans play in foreign tournaments, and less foreigners attempt GSL, which i would not like to see happen.

Finally someone with rational thoughts. I stopped watching GSL because of this crap, it cheapens the competition that they just hand out invites to CODE S, which is supposed to be the more "Prestigious SC2 League" but that just makes it a joke. If they just hand them out to the "popular" players then i see it pretty possible any team can just buy a spot for their Ace player at this point.

Exactly. Because they at least have some entertainment value. A standard PvZ or a ZvZ which is just one-sided probably only gets watched by people wanting to improve their game, and not their value as an eSport.
Really disappointed with those games, was really hoping to see the same IdrA that took out bomber and puma on big stages. However, hope he can do better in the future. IdrA fighting!

I don't think there are foreign Zergs besides Stephano who would stand a slim chance against Taeja... and I'm not sure Stephano would win either. I am Terran myself, I like Taeja and I think he played a ton better and a 4-0 is perfectly fine and deserved, but that hate on the player is just ridiculous.
IdrA's performance wasn't EMBARASSING... do you think he threw the games? He tried and it didn't work out, he made mistakes.. Taeja forced those mistakes. Leave the players alone seriously. Anyone who seriously thinks IdrA doesn't take it seriously because its a showmatch.. knows nothing about mindset whatsoever. A showmatch might not be as important to win as a GSL final, but its certainly a way to gain experience, fans, money, selfconfidence.

I see. So you're one of the idiots who posts trash in the chat channels and now you're angry and bringing your trash to TL. I guess I'm disappointed about the slowmode too, then.
