I'm going to quote your post after the results and laugh at you when IdrA wins.

Korean player wankers are annoying.

Some foreigners can still compete but unfortunately they probe rushed a game and now GSL is mad at them so they won't get a code S seed

they need to stop giving code S seeds to foreigners regardless of the whole Naniwa thing. Finally someone with rational thoughts. I stopped watching GSL because of this crap, it cheapens the competition that they just hand out invites to CODE S, which is supposed to be the more "Prestigious SC2 League" but that just makes it a joke.
If they just hand them out to the "popular" players then i see it pretty possible any team can just buy a spot for their Ace player at this point.

Yeah remember that time MC, MMA, MVP, Nestea, etc. were all bumped out of the GSL at the same time because literally all 32 code S spots were taken up by foreigners?

Why do you think foreigners deserve any Code S spots in the first place?

To raise the skill level of foreigners, I don't get why you want SC2 to become BW in terms of global skill where Koreans stomp everyone. WHY would you want this?

That's true.

2-1 is not "raped". To rape someone you need to go like 4-0 or 4-1

My memory might be foggy, but I thought that IdrA just dominated in the two games he won.

Game 1: Bomber just losing his engineering bay over and over again, and idra going mass muta eventually wearing him down. Bomber was in it for most of the game but idra just harassed all game and Bomber ran out of money. Wasn't a domination

Game 2: Both players played straight up, Bomber won easily (Idra early gged)

Game 3: Bomber went something stupid like 8 rax no gas (i.e no stim, combat shields etc.) for the first half of the game and just got further and further behind and eventually got run over

Nope wrong bbzzzt fail you lose gg no re.

None of the big name GSL players have been edged out because of foreigners.

what about no-name but deserving players that should be in the tournament, but aren't because there obviously isn't an infinite amount of player slots available and foreigners are undeservedly occupying a number of these slots...?

Too bad there aren't any qualifiers to get into Code A and literally every code A spot goes to foreigners, this is racist, they literally let zero koreans into Code A and it's their own country! AUGHHHHH

what? There's an offline qualifier with 20 spots.. or is that an outdated format by now?

Like I said, GSL needs to rethink their format, because seeding foreigners who can't hope to compete at that level is completely retarded.

edit:
there's still a Code A qualifier-- what are you talking about?

LOL its not GOM's job to raise the skill of the foreigners. no one is entitled to anything. If you want to compete, you practice hard, get good and show results when it counts.

Giving spots to foreigners just based on their popularity wont do anyone any favors, they should earn them just like every other player in Code S. Besides Stephano does just fine without being in Code S, why must idra fanboys whine so much?

Didn't know losing those ZvZs had any bearing on a future showmatch with Idra's strongest MU.

Aside from IPL 3 Stephano hasn't posted great results against Koreans.

Also how the fuck do you think Huk got so good? He got seeded and practiced with the best players in the world and now he's one of them. It's not going to work for everyone that gets seeded, but it is going to happen sometimes.

I didn't even bother to watch this series since I expected something like 4-2 or 4-1. But 4-0? Well that's a bit silly and unexpected. I expected a bit more from Idra and I don't even like the guy. But Taeja is pretty damn good after all. You figure with Idra being in the SlayerS house even it being a showmatch and $400 on the line, he may know a few things about Taeja and pull off at least 1 win. Guess not though.

The fact is that GOM is providing entertaining SC2, that's sort of their goal, with their current director trying to advance eSports. One of the ways to do this is to close the gap between foreign and Koreans which plagued BW.
