Even if half the people tuned in, they would probably get twice the ads from the match being so much longer.

I'm sure Twitch TV is very upset that the stream nearly hit 20,000 viewers. Man I don't know how they'd cope with it! The urge to throw yourself off a tall building after achieving great successes never sounded better.

This is worse than what Naniwa did. Seems that 400$ aren't worth anything for him. him playing poorly is worse than naniwa throwing away a game intentionally? what planet are you from? Show me one point in this last two matches where Idra really screwed up? If he didn't want to play these games he shouldn't. This was "Fuck you" in the face for ESV TV. Please, stop it. Idra was outplayed. Deal with it.

Do 50% of the people really believe IdrA stands a chance against Taeja? I'm going to quote your post after the results and laugh at you when IdrA wins. Korean player wankers are annoying. hahahahahaa. I love this shit. So much denial crammed into the IdrA fanbase. No need to start eating up the troll, I think it was fair to say idra had a chance. I don't think anyone here quite knew what idra's skill level was at since he went to korea. Clearly after this showmatch however, he hasn't learned to deviate enough from his traditional play. Quite a disappointing showmatch, mostly because of results. Also because I felt like there were some stutters in the stream, and the colour mod was very ugly. Just my 2 cents.

Idra is so far from being on par with Code S and he'll probably drop out of Code A without much fanfare there either. I guess we're back to that period of time just before Huk won his second MLG. Foreigners just can't compete. Some foreigners can still compete but unfortunately they probe rushed a game and now GSL is mad at them so they won't get a code S seed they need to stop giving code S seeds to foreigners regardless of the whole Naniwa thing. It undermines the entire tournament that they give out these charity seeds, and it makes foreigners looks bad by simple association to these horrible, one-sided matches. Foreigners that want to compete in the GSL should qualify, just like Koreans. And the same goes for Koreans wanting to play in MLG

If I didn't care about a showmatch, I'd just do stupid shit the entire time. But it seemed that he did care, otherwise he couldn't have used conventional builds.

Taeja might not be as good as Mvp, but that's irrelevant to my point. Idra's not on Taeja's level. Plain as day. Do you watch Taeja stream/play in the GSL? Guess not.. also, lol, Idra beating Bomber once upon a time in a Bo3...how is that relevant? I dont get it. Maybe you're just trollin meh

Different format (ESV weekly maps, which Taeja is familiar with and has been dominating). Different environment (online, where nerves play less of an issue and believe it or not, Idra has better nerves than most progamers). Different lead-up (not "I have no idea who I'm going to play, so I'll play standard and prepare for every matchup"). Idra did very well in MLG invitational and MLG Providence, but objectively this was an entirely different ballgame where Taeja was going to be heavily favored.

What does naniwa has to do with this? why even mention it? >_< I'm not just pointing this to you.

Just because Idra barely beat a good but wildly inconsistent Korean terran one time doesn't mean he stands a 50 percent chance against Taeja, even at his best. It's just like in the blizzard cup poll where hero was like 2nd or 3rd to win the whole event, whille MMA and DRG were last.
