serge Russian Federation142 Posts January 12 2012 00:25 GMT #22 It's obvious that there are two types of propulsion systems (even marines have suits which require power, they look turbine powered) Combustion (mineral liquefaction) Nuclear (radioactive vespene gas) Zerg and protoss don't have nuclear technology so they use radioactive vespene gas for other purposes. Zergs use it as a mutagen (citing official lore). Protoss probably use it to extract some fundamental particles from decay or something. (citing my buttocks)
