His name is spelled the way EG has it, it is spelled the same way on Liquidpedia and TLPD so I highly doubt they got his name wrong.

expected on page 1 and it was the only "logical" choise ^^

Hype? Average? rofl..

I think a lot of people are disappointed in the announcement, but remember, EG barely did anything to hype this up. They tweeted that they'd be signing a player, and gave a few clues. That's it. The rest is just stupid hype that you yourself made up, and it's terrible that this manifests itself as hatred for EG. Calm down.

I expected them to fuse flash and jaedong into an archon, thus creating the best SC2 player ever: EGFlashdong

Really EG? The homepage is a massive image, who does your webdesign!?

lol are people not realizing that code s = top 24 players in the world?

nice well played EG. For once your announcement was worth the hype. JYP is the best protoss player worldwide imo.

I'd say Idra is still the superstar of that team... arguebly not in skill, but his popularity is close to unrivaled in the whole SC2 scene

Not until he figures out vT. Hopefully training in the SlayerS house will fix that.

JYP is good, but idk eh. Was really hoping for a zerg or a forigner. But w/e. Yea being in Code S is just meh nothing special really lol I know he's really good, just not that exciting of an addition IMO. Certainly not worth 148 pages of rampant speculation and hype.
Hype from the community pleases the sponsors, who become more willing to support teams and players, who can enjoy higher standards of living and spend more time practicing. EG also now has more Code S players than some Korean teams. Nothing against Moon or Grubby, or even WC3 in general, but those two players would not have significantly bolstered EG's SC2 lineup (both are too inconsistent, but Moon has shown promise) other than publicity.
Congrats to JYP and EG!

People are so ignorant. In Korea, the surname comes first in names (Park). JYP's given names are Jin Young.
This is why his ID is JYP.

Great pick up but I don't see him going far in Code S unless he improves his PvT a lot

PvT isn't working for anyone. and don't bring up parting please. oZ had a lucky run for me.
