I think you are a great play by play caster but when I sometimes feel that you lack some game knowledge. I have high demands about the caster when watching a stream, I both want an entertaining caster (like you Khaldor) but I also want a caster with good game knowledge so I can learn something while watching. It is on the last point on which i feel you need to improve since at least I find it very annoying when I get the feeling that i know more about what happens in the game and why than the caster. So to be honest I am not a big fan of you when you solo cast but I am a big fan of your casting when you cast with someone since you are a great play by play caster with lots of passion for the game who interact with the co-caster in a great way. So just improve your game knowledge and you will be a sick caster.
Edit: I really like that you are one of the few casters who actually criticize players when they do stupid decisions we need more casters who has the balls to do that.

I enjoy your casting as well. i prefer you over most of the other casters! =)

but you tend to critise the players too often. If you'd focus more on the positive prospects a players move has, it could build up to more suspense in a game.
For me as a viewer it kills the game to a certain point.

(i guess the reason for this is that your a player as well so sometimes you just go "oh yeah, if he's getting this done and going for that now, the zerg won't have any chance." Fading this out or maybe start playing random would help ^^)

But keep up the good work! Youre working very hard and spend a lot of time (staying up all night casting)

I think you need to work on your way of talking when casting.
I've noticed that you use very long run-on sentences when casting (especially during exciting moments) which in turn makes your casting sound very monotonous. Becomes quite grating to listen to after a while. : /
Also something minor I've noticed is that you use "that" instead of "this". Saying "that game" while you're casting the game sounds very weird to me. That is a very small thing though, and it doesn't bother me that much.

I have nothing complain about when it comes to knowledge though, and all in all you're a good caster!

I somewhat agree with these sentiments, though these flaws are more than forgivable given that English is not your first language. You've done pretty fucking amazing considering, I'll say. Keep it up!

Love your casting Khaldor. Started to like you almost as soon as i heard you. It's always sad when you can't make it to cast the KSL XD, but I understand, you probablly cast more than anyone.

I agree with some of the criticism voiced above, such as repeating yourself and the excessive "that" usage, it's true that your English is noticeably not on the level of an eloquent native speaker (how could it be?) but you kinda make up for it with your dedication and energetic enthusiasm. What I could add is that I don't particularly like the way you cast the really big battles, but that is entirely a matter of personal preference so I wouldn't say that this is valid criticism.

And the biggest positive thing you really need to be lauded for is the fact that you cast every fucking tournament out there, whether it's in Korea or EU, no matter what time it is for you. It's incredible and gives so much additional entertainment value to the community that you'll always be a hero in my book. :D

What I really like about your casting, especially for the GSL, is that you are not trying to be a light version of Tastosis. You're just being yourself.

Most other casters don't have as much experience as you do and try to imitate the most popular casting duo. Unfortunately you can only lose if you are constantly compared to them.

It's always impressive to see:

It doesn't matter whether it is football, rugby, ice-hockey, Starcraft or any other sports - the viewers always believe they know way more about what's happening on the screen than the casters or even the players on the field themselves not to mention the coach. Everybody is a better player when he watches. :D

I am impressed by how fast your accent got better and how much faster you can talk in English now than you did in your first GomTV cast.

well your casting is getting better and better, I know English isn't your first language (neither is mine) but sometimes you commit very obvious and simple mistakes. I can not recall one in particular right now, but for instance, on the OP it says "Unfortunately the problem with the thread that has been used for feedback in the past was not created by me." that means that the problem was not created by you, whereas I think you tried to say 'The problem is that the last thread was not created by me'.

I believe on this morning's cast you said something along the lines "this is the best xxxxx ever in all the time" so, basically only subtle things regarding your English. You are quite entertaining, and yeah you can always improve your game knowledge, but well, that's also why you don't cast alone, you don't have to know it all, yet .
"only the need for meaning changes how you feel about what you see" "he who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life" "being a Rebel is as stupid as to be completely Obedient"

You are doing a great job I was so happy to hear you were going over to cast code-A.

However there's still some room for improvement I feel you do get a bit over-critical of certain decisions the players make and keep saying why you don't understand why they're doing X or Y and harp on about it a bit long.

There are some cases where this is absolutely fine like the 1-base bio push in that TvT on bel'shir (I think ryung vs bomber?) and he walked down the path where bombed had tower vision and let time for 3 bunkers to go up. This made no sense so your lengthy criticism was completely justified!

Instead of saying "if he just did Y and Z he could be in SUCH a better position" as much, just say it once if need-be and move on. I feel you go back to this approach a little bit too much and sometimes when you've missed the true intent of the players actions it seems a bit off-track.

Oh and good handling of the situations where moletrap loses focus as hes over-focusing on something and seems to completely miss what's actually going on, you are unafraid to straight up correct him and quickly get the cast back in the right direction.

Overall you are doing an amazing job and I hope you stay in Korea a while longer! Don't stay up too late bringing us content on your stream from the GOM house!

I really like you casting with Wolf, but a lot less with Moletrap. Not that I hate Moletrap, but I actually have the same problem with him. I like him with Wolf, but not so much with you.

You both are great play-by-play casters, but I think you lack a bit of game knowledge (often making wrong calls or obviously incorrect analysis), and Wolf complements this very well, while Moletrap has kinda the same problem.

So yeah, if I had an advice it would be to work on you game knowledge (easier said than done though ), or get GOM to hire a fourth caster more focused on analysis to avoid having Moletrap and you cast together

Other than that I like your voice a lot :D

i really like your shows and watched a lot of ksl/code A/up and down casted by you.
One thing you can improve is that for some reason you keep changing the names of players and/or units like constantly
,dont know why nor how to fix that. nevertheless great casting overall

I think there's a lot you need to work on, but frankly these kinds of posts earn you 100 points in my book. This is the kind of thing that shows you're always working, always trying.

I think you miss some things, your analyses can be a little bit better, and I still think you talk entirely too much, but you're always asking for feedback and always working towards that feedback so ya know what, just keep on keeping on. A+ dude.
My name is Mike, and statistically, yours is not.

I've been listening to your casts since Wc3 and I always loved your enthusiasm. When you started to cast in English more often I wasn't very excited, because I normally can't stand non native speakers casting in English. But I have to say, you did improve greatly in the last couple of months and I quite enjoy your casting for GOM.
Oh one thing that irritates me about you casting, is that you say "really really" all the time. I know every caster has some phrases that they use often, but maybe tone down on the "really really" thing a bit. Other than that just keep up your good work

This morning was my first time watching you cast the GSL live, and my first time watching you with Moletrap, who I am not a fan of personally.

I thought you did a tremendous job. Your style is very good. You know how to insert your passion without being obnoxious, an aspect that was really on display this morning opposite Moletrap. You also clearly took the time to study the stats of the players to prepare for the group you were casting and seem to know what you are talking about analytically.

I don't mind if you state when you disagree with your co-caster. You were right every time you did today I think.

So good job, keep working hard. It's obviously paying off for you. Best of luck.

(And so people don't think I'm just slamming Moletrap here, I really like when he talks about who players were in BW, it's a very helpful connection point to bridge two parts of my brain. Moletrap has no control over the things that I dislike in his casting.)

Hey Khaldor,

I started watching ur casts back at the good old wc3 times and it's still a pleasure everytime I turn on GOM and see that Khaldor is casting.
Of course there are still some things that could be improved a bit, for example get more music for ur own3d stream : )
As you said you will come back to Germany for Xmas and New Year and then go back to Korea, i really hope that you won't stop casting for GOM. Except Tastosis ur definitly my favorite Caster, and u Team up very well with Moletrap and Wolf.

So keep on going !

p.s. Thank u very much for Casting the KSL, great Time everytime I tune in.
