Please make sure to read the statement from Naniwa that is linked in the full article before commenting. |

Oh yea obviously! Guys like you are so smart. You think it would be obvious that a thumbs down in a competitive atmosphere to a player would get you fired. Why isnt everyone as smart as you?

Naniwa is one of the few foreigners that actually WANT to stay in KR and play countless hours to improve. I respect him for having that strong of a work ethic.
Good luck Nani !

If I was part of Complexity I would have done anything possible to keep Naniwa on their roster. Code S, beaten two multiple GSL champions back to back.
Congrats to QxG!

I hope for Naniwa that this will be the team he stays on, think complexity isn't the team for him either but i will follow him closely on Quantic to see how it goes for him, its quite hard to like, follow him though after all the team switches. Lets hope he stays with Quantic Gaming
Best of luck to Nani in the future in Korea!

I wonder what complexity will do with all the money recieved now that Naniwa was bought out. Maybe they will be picking up some Korean free agents or something...

O_O I wasn't referring to his thumbs down, and I doubt coL cared too much about that. it was more of his calling the tournament a joke while he was playing it.
By the way, you post in an incredibly obnoxious manner, which is just troll-baiting.

People need to realize his "lack of professionalism" at MLG Providence was a comment on how a specific play in NesTea's drone pull in their game on TDA was "idiotic" (apparently the Swedish for something being idiotic and someone being an idiot is very similar, as English is Naniwa's second language it's obviously a mistranslation on his part), and then giving him a thumbs down when Nani beat NesTea in their actual MLG series (the first was the Global Invitiational or whatever). This action that Naniwa gave is valid considering NesTea said something to the effect that he would wipe the floor with Naniwa in their next series.
Peoples' inability to read and actually comprehend complex social situations like a team change shouldn't surprise me but for God's sake. Read what Naniwa said for Christ's sake. He was unhappy being in a house as the only non-Korean and felt lonely, and his team simply terminated his contract under less than public circumstances. I for one am happy for Naniwa that he gets to be around a friend in SaSe. Good luck in the future and I hope to see you win more! (I am a Protoss player after all ^^)
|
Completely reasonable deal, good luck to all parties.
|
Wasn't Naniwa saying a while back that he didn't want to stay in the ST house for long because they didn't practice hard enough for his liking or something to that effect?
|
Wow interesting this is like the first proper transfer like how football does it. This is actually kinda cool.
|
Complexity screwed up and didn't research Naniwas background. This looks bad for both parts but it's really Complexitys fault. I think Naniwa will like it better living with SaSe as they seem to be really good friends, so i think this is just a big plus for him.
|
So does this mean naniwa will be training in the IM house since they are partnered with QG?
|
This is great news, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner.
Good luck to both of them.

Screwed up? Maybe they thought he had changed

O_O.
Best of luck to qxg!

Maybe they thought he had changed They should have known he was hard to deal with, why else would Dignitas not try to resign their most successful player at the time? Complexity should have known it was a risk and they're not getting my sympathy for kicking him because of how he acted behind the scenes.

EG needs to just accept their role as the most evil team in eSports and recruit NaNiwa and start a team house in Korea. Idra (the other most evil player in SC2) and HuK (the Liquid defector) and Puma (the first great Korean to join the foreign legion) are already there.
It would be perfect.

I like how everyone on this thread "knows" why he got traded...
It couldn't have been a mutually beneficial agreement between a player, his team and the other team. It couldn't have been that Quantic wanted a top pro and CoL wanted some cash. NO WAY!
I wish there was a rollled-eyes icon....
