Please make sure to read the statement from Naniwa that is linked in the full article before commenting. |

It would be perfect.
lolol it really would be the perfect evil superpower, and I'm a big naniwa fan :p

Well Naniwa did handle himself poorly in a professional light at MLG Providence. It's about image so I'm not that surprised.
On December 09 2011 09:39 las91 wrote: People need to realize his "lack of professionalism" at MLG Providence was a comment on how a specific play in NesTea's drone pull in their game on TDA was "idiotic" (apparently the Swedish for something being idiotic and someone being an idiot is very similar, as English is Naniwa's second language it's obviously a mistranslation on his part), and then giving him a thumbs down when Nani beat NesTea in their actual MLG series (the first was the Global Invitiational or whatever). This action that Naniwa gave is valid considering NesTea said something to the effect that he would wipe the floor with Naniwa in their next series.
Peoples' inability to read and actually comprehend complex social situations like a team change shouldn't surprise me but for God's sake. Read what Naniwa said for Christ's sake. He was unhappy being in a house as the only non-Korean and felt lonely, and his team simply terminated his contract under less than public circumstances. I for one am happy for Naniwa that he gets to be around a friend in SaSe. Good luck in the future and I hope to see you win more! (I am a Protoss player after all ^^) Dissing a tournament is highly unprofessional. Especially when it was his own fault. His lack of professionalism had nothing to do with comments about Nestea's play, it was him throwing a damn fit for assuming something and not owning up to it.

It couldn't have been a mutually beneficial agreement between a player, his team and the other team. It couldn't have been that Quantic wanted a top pro and CoL wanted some cash. NO WAY!
I wish there was a rollled-eyes icon.... Or because Jason Lake said that Complexity wanted to get rid of him and that they approached Quantic.

What compLexity dont like winning? :D

NANIWA AND SASE! NERD BONER

Well you can only imagine how bad he must be to work with when every team he's ever been on wants nothing to do with him, and one of the rakaka guys went one a huge rant about how much of a dick he was.

I can't tell you how many times I've dissed a tournament that I was competing in. It's really hard not to diss a tournament when you've been working for hours, you've got hours more to go, you're tired, there is ALWAYS something that is making you wait for some stupid reason, they are never run as smoothly as they can be.
So when Tastosis calls someone's move in the game "stupid" do you guys rush to come on here and call them BM?

Best of luck to qxg! Tyloo's a weird choice for your subconscious. Out of all teams, your brain came up with Tyloo?

I wonder what those core values are. One can only speculate the full reasons behind this, but no doubt his lack of professionalism at mlg providence must have played a big role into this decision. I mean this is a team that cut Destiny because they believed he couldn't professionally represent them well enough. Oh yea obviously! Guys like you are so smart. You think it would be obvious that a thumbs down in a competitive atmosphere to a player would get you fired. Why isnt everyone as smart as you? O_O I wasn't referring to his thumbs down, and I doubt coL cared too much about that. it was more of his calling the tournament a joke while he was playing it. By the way, you post in an incredibly obnoxious manner, which is just troll-baiting.
Omg that is even worse. I'm so stupid I even missed that myself! I don't think any one of us will forget that catastrophe that brought esports to an all time low.

Wow, Quantic looks to be determined to make itself the best team out there. Great for them to pick up a Code S player like that.
|
When did he say that they wanted to get rid of him? Realizing that he's not a fit for your team is not "oh god we need to get rid of this guy right now!"
How do you people know that Naniwa didn't initiate all this of his own accord? You don't know, that's the only thing that should be said here. YOU DO NOT KNOW.

Who was Nani on before Dignitas?

You roll your eyes and then proceed with your own baseless speculation. I see what you did there!
It's certainly beneficial for CoL (in their eyes), or they wouldn't have done it. And they said clearly that they didn't do it because it would be beneficial for Naniwa: http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/n59w3/complexity_sells_naniwa_contract_to_quantic_gaming/c36d1v7 (Whether it is beneficial to him or not, I can't judge)

Perhaps Naniwa didn't want to disturb his practice/sleep schedule to play for coL in the IPL Team Arena Challenge.
Anyway, gratz to QG for a great pick-up.

I think the Starcraft scene is big enough that we should be expecting team transfers like this one. Sure, compared to the past, this is really unexpected. I feel like he just got to coL, but things change. The idea of loyalty is fine and all, but if a player gets a better deal from one team, you can expect them to go there.
Not the case here, but some teams are more established and can outright pay more. For example, a transfer from vile to EG would be pretty self-explanatory. EG is more established and can pay more.

Man, Quantic is getting to have a pretty insane line-up. Soon they are going to quietly become a top team.
|
Am i the only one thinking Naniwa is just a BM kid who don't give a shit about people who pay him and trust in him ? mean he just had 10 teams in a year and everywhere he went there had been problems (i even remember Diestar went from Empire to Millenium because he couldn't see Naniwa). And in general i don't like the blind fanboyism on someone who is BM.
