OK, well as someone who doesn't read reddit...

Alright you got me. I was wrong on that one.

Will say though, I think whoever that is is WAY out of line with that comment. Really, really stupid thing to say; and also quite petty.

Thissssss is pretty sweet. Quantic Fighting! My favorite toss now with my stream addiction. Gogogogo Quantic
We were all raised on televion that made us believe we'd all be Millionairs, Movie gods, and Rockstars..... But we won't.... We are slowly learning that fact. And we are very, very pissed off.

So many tears.
I'm a big fan of naniwa, eSports need more BM and drama, that's for sure.

I'm serious.

Of course, so imagine how pissed off he must be to write a comment like that.

Is this related to one of the reasons why there is no Quantic Gaming and IM partnership anymore?

However pissed off he may or may not be, he just made himself look like a fool. I'm sorry, but there is no excuse for that whatsoever.

edit: I mean, it's one thing to mention that they were gonna send the other guy (though I like the "any week now" part what does "any week now" mean?)

It's another thing entirely to go on and insult the guy and then lie and act like you give a shit how he does in the future. You can't say "we don't give a rats ass what he wants, he's gone" and then act like you give a fuck whats best for him. What a dishonest ass thing to say. Also, the "I apologize for telling the truth..." martyr act doesn't help one bit. Alright I'm done bashing this guy, whoever he is. Well, one more: if that is your idea of how a professional team works.... Naniwa made the right fucking choice. Good God.

But with regards to this news, it doesn't surprise me. Naniwa doesn't seem to be a professional player, don't know whether he knows what that word is anyway. This impression you get from all of news that have come out so far since his ban from ESL.

He seems to be having a bit of retard moments being too frank in public and saying what he thinks, and this way, talking trash to many people, even those who might be thinking they are friendly with him. So it is a no surprise. It will not be a surprise if he is isolated in Korea for his antics, and I fully expect that.

However, Complexity doing their shitty interview with him where he trash talks about IMmvp and IMNesTea and a bit disrespectful to DRG (who is their partner from colMVP). Whoever did interview didn't think about censoring it even if Naniwa has not enough brain to censor his own words. Probably they thought it damages Naniwa more, if it damages, and not Complexity. Still, I had a bad impression from the fact that a Complexity staff interviews him, and even dwells on those trash talking moments, and then thinks it's OK to publish. I have a feeling that whoever did interview didn't even care about colMVP link, so he might have been completely cool with trash talking about MVP.

NaNi's reasoning explains it all. Apparently it was good to all the parties involved. Good luck Johan and Kim!

Dignitas pretty much did the same thing. They mentioned that they were the ones that decided not to resign naniwa. Just like coL approaching quantic to see if they were interested in buying naniwas contract. That makes 2 teams in a row that don't want anything to do with his superstar talent.

Whats the big deal here? At this point its "he said she said." Naniwa says that coL has no plans on sending anyone to Korea (which could be a lie) and coL says that they are sending someone to Korea (which could be a lie.) Either one of these guys could be dishonest.

I personally like Naniwa for his work ethic and determination. I think its an inspiration that people can learn from beyond the progamer world. But at the end of the day, Naniwa has earned himself a poor reputation outside of the game. I'm not talking about his BM to nestea or any other player (I'm perfectly fine with in game sportsmanship or lack thereof). But the bottom line is that sources say that hes disrespectful to management and teammates, hes difficult to work with, and has issues. (Latest source: Latest F-Slasher episode 12/8/11).

I'm a fan of his and i'll support his play, but its hard for me to say that coL fucked up the relationship when he has a history that says otherwise.

Considering that happened like a week ago, I doubt it.

In fact, I would think QIM would continue BECAUSE of Naniwa. Unless Nani wouldn't want to go to the IM house, then that would be problematic.

EG needs to just accept their role as the most evil team in eSports and recruit NaNiwa and start a team house in Korea. Idra (the other most evil player in SC2) and HuK (the Liquid defector) and Puma (the first great Korean to join the foreign legion) are already there.

It would be perfect.

lolol it really would be the perfect evil superpower, and I'm a big naniwa fan :p

I find it funny that Djwheat and co said on live on three that picking up naniwa was a big mistake because of his bad manner, and that he is a headache on the management for the team. They told Complexity that they problebly would regret it later. And who knew they would be right. I will say I am abit suprised over how fast it went, but I guess this is best for all parts.

I wonder what those core values are.

One can only speculate the full reasons behind this, but no doubt his lack of professionalism at mlg providence must have played a big role into this decision. I mean this is a team that cut Destiny because they believed he couldn't professionally represent them well enough.

Oh yea obviously! Guys like you are so smart. You think it would be obvious that a thumbs down in a competitive atmosphere to a player would get you fired. Why isnt everyone as smart as you?

O_O I wasn't referring to his thumbs down, and I doubt coL cared too much about that. it was more of his calling the tournament a joke while he was playing it.

By the way, you post in an incredibly obnoxious manner, which is just troll-baiting.

Omg that is even worse. I'm so stupid I even missed that myself! I don't think any one of us will forget that catastrophe that brought esports to an all time low.

Why are you so condescending

So that's what IM split from Quantic.

Quantic: Hey, we're gonna pick up Naniwa soon. Gonna be awesome
Nestea: Ohhhhhhh hell no!
