I do understand where it originated from though. Both are mates from the ZENEX days and Byun clearly needed the win more than CoCa. However, doing it so brazenly is just completely baffling. I hope they take their punishments seriously.

Weren't Boxer, Ganzi and MMA the only ppl who were at G-Stars? Why couldn't he practice with Taeja, Ryung, Milz, Lots? They're all good practice partners. Or just find some other players to practice against?

As a viewer, I value Coca's builds more than I value the formal outcome of his games. Thus, even watching him throw a game brings me more value as a viewer than watching someone else win after a great personal effort.

Everyone's making a big deal about a guy Voluntarily losing a game. Which I might add is how every single game of professional Starcraft usually ends. One player voluntarily deciding to leave the game. If a player chooses to give himself a -1 game handicap, why on earth should we care? He's just going to be knocked out faster anyway.

A ban until Jan 1st is basically only a few more weeklies. GSL November is the last code S for the year so Coca and Byun may not lose anything from this at all. Err, being dropped out of Code S and having to requalify all the way from Code B, plus the fact that he got kicked out from the teamhouse = less opportunities to practice with good players is pretty big for me. And also they have yet to determine when they can play again, it could be longer than a few months for all we know

It's the level of professionalism shown from a Code S player on a reputable team. Indirectly you disrespect the tournament organizers by trolling their tournament. If you're not interested in playing to win, why sign up? Also considering how Korea's Starcraft history has such a dark blotch due to the match-fixing scandal, it would be even more stupid to do this and even chat about it in game. You kind of disrespect the Korean SC community by doing that. I don't understand why they just couldn't play the games, realize it was a stupid thing they just did and not send the replays and call it as a CoCa forfeit? And also you disrespect your team, by ruining its reputation. It's kind of how soccer teams punish their players who do stupid things like assaulting people in bars and stuff.
