It was explained in Dr. Chae's statement, and everyone here apparently thinks code A spot was on the line. GSL has not discussed code A spot for 2012 season with ESV TV yet.

Idra actually mentioned match fixing being a real and serious problem recently. It seems like such a distant issue to me, but this proves that it can appear in much more subtle ways then originally perceived as massive elaborate conspiracy by major teams. The LB will probably (like 99.999999999% - pulling it out of my ass, yup) be worth "zero". I'm surprised that they'd do something like that... wow. B-Team, mercy.

Also Taeja's official statement: ![]() Ahk I just woke up... "Ahk I just woke up" Is that what Taeja said? Anyways, this is quite surprising. Didn't expect this from such a high level player, kind of redundant but yeah it definitely doesn't seem that he has the right mentality to be in the pro scene, if you're willing to just joke around like that in a serious tournament. I'm sure that they knew the teams that they play for would not appreciate this at all... Glad to see that Jessica and Boxer apologized for it.

That is a stupid thing to do in the first place, and even stupider to do it in public in front of 000's of viewers. It's a shame that Coca won't be playing for the foreseeable future. But good of them to admit it and take their punishments.

Plus CoCa and Byun are both still quite young to make stupid mistakes--- they obviously didn't realize how big an issue it was, chatting in game about it. Nobody would chat about it if they didn't think it was a big deal... that's not even attempting to hide it. With a scene as young as SC2's, it doesn't hurt to crack down on things like this just to set a precedent. I doubt BoxeR would be willing to overlook something like this anyway.
