On the 21st, they will put a jersey on LiquidHero and shoot pictures of him for the 2012 LiquidHero photo calender. Where Hero will be wearing different costumes such as: a swimsuit for June, an elf costume for December, and no clothing at all for February. | ||

I don't think it's Zenio because he left oGs because he wanted to play outside the team house. I think Liquid would prefer to keep their relationship with oGs as strong as possible and not sign a player who just recently left the team because of a dispute over where he would live. As for theSTC, I just have this wierd hunch. | ||

What surprises me is that they are making a player announcement right after a major tournament (providence). Wouldn't it make more sense to do it right before? Which makes me suspect it is someone that won't be at providence. Zenio fits the bill in all respects IMO. Free agent, in the oGs-TL house, not going to be at providence... | ||

In my opinion training house provide the best compatitive admosfer and access to more ideas and analyzing of games. Not to say practice on your own is bad though, Nestea and MVP do it aswell. And they do oke ish ;p We will see if Liquid has picked up another hidden gem. | ||

The Shirts could either be new merch for sale and/or new team jerseys. I can't see liquid picking up another zerg. Haypro Ret and Sheth are all a good fit for liquid as well as very talented. They just bolstered their protoss line up with Hero(who is a total fucking boss) after Huk left. Their terran lineup remains the weakest in my eyes consisting of only Jinro and TLO. Both are good but i think Liquid would benefit from having a top tier Terran added to their roster. Also, it would be really cool if it was Nazgul returning back into the scene as a player again. He tore it up in the beta. | ||

Not that it looks like the picture, but Check did go teamless awhile ago. And he has been doing an awful lot of streaming on TL. IMO he would be a great pick, TeamliquidCheck. You can see the old pony shirts at the right in the backmost layer, with the current shirt to the left, more forward and slightly darker, and the new shirt in front with an even darker shade, symbolizing the natural progression of hues Liquid` has chosen to wear. As for the shirts, its probably a new partnership since you see 2 lighter shade shirts uniting into the dark one in the forefront. The third is a member of OGS joining TL with their new partnership is my guess. Since Huk left for EG and Ret moved out of Korea, I don't really see the point of maintaining the OGS-Liquid house. MC has the best english of their team and Zenio flat out left OGS so who knows! | ||

I don't think Liquid would aquire a player which had recently broke off from the team they are partnered with, seems incredibly weird. Well the reason why Zenio left oGs was because of the mandatory in-house practice environment. He won't have to adhere to that rule with TL. | ||

Tyler himself would admit that because he is an intelligent, honest person with tact. He literally never produces results. This does not stop him from being a great ambassador and esports rep; but to claim he is "probably one of the best foreigners" is just a completely absurd statement bud. | ||

Of course he produced results. If he hadn't, he wouldn't be considered the best Starcraft player in the west at one point. He can be one of the best western foreigners. Tyler did alright in the last couple of MLGs (Anaheim and Raleigh), managing to get ranked 28 and 23 (and that was going through the open brackets), outranking white-ra, TLO, drewbie, choya, Oz, Machine and a lot of other skilled players. I'd say that even if he hasn't been producing outstanding results he is still a pretty damn good player. | ||

Everyone experiences failure, the people who become great keep working at it and don't just quit because they're not the best. Tyler is not one of the best foreigners right now, but he has been the best foreigner before and he knows what it takes to get there. Its just a matter of him wanting it badly enough and going for it, which is up to him. Michael Jordan got cut from his high school basketball team once, food for thought. | ||

You can't justify that statement with a simple equation. One game is a sequel to the other in every single way, both in terms of players playing it (for the most part), and the game itself. Results stand and TSL2 win (over many of currently active top foreign players) is both relevant and significant when one considers his ability and potential. Accomplishments don't get just wiped out, and it is unfair to claim he has no results to justify people's belief in him. | ||

Sad too see so many Sc2 newbies not see how incredible Tyler was in BW. He doesnt do well because he doesnt play. But now hes been playing almost daily. If he feels like hes no longer motivated then he will quite but thats is clearly not the case. Also saying that a player should retire just because hes not a top tier player now is fucking ridiculous lol! | ||
