So if you think it is so trivial that it doesn't matter, then why not keep the price the way it was?
What kind of backward ass logic is that? His point is that such a miniscule decrease in cost will barely have an impact, but obviously is better than no change at all....

You should mass lose instead and try to bring the Terran win rate down.
Winning with 1/1/1 over and over will just get us nerfed again.

I have no idea what would even possess you to say such a thing about Protoss. They're the gas-heaviest race in the game, followed closely by the Zerg. Have you just seen how stalkers respond to upgrades? They just become unbeatable!
LOL yeah totally Hahaha

rants aside, couldn't care less about this update. I guess ghosts nerfed makes me a happier Zerg. Well most Blizzcon this year was about the new World of Warcraft expansion so yea.

it looks just like the whine zerg used to use in the deathball ages:
"protoss so OP, why their 7000/6000 army don't die to my 2 waves of 4000/1000 cheap units"
look at the army value tab in the replay... protoss has by far the least cost effective units...

great patch . lovin it. excited to see how it goes

what? if they aren't cost effective, then army value shouldnt matter...however, I think this patch was mainly intended for pvt.

Do they use the latest patches during the GSL? Seems like a patch like this, especially with regards to upgrades, could throw off the timings a fair bit. I would have guessed that they maintain the same balance settings that they had at the start of the event.

Not looking forward to TvP with nerfed EMP. I know the match-up is Terran favored for Korean pros but us Plat-Diamond scrubs struggle pretty hard against Protoss. Chargelot-Templar-Archon is seriously the bane of my existence...

Wut, sentries destroy roachs without tunneling claws and hydras and lings. Collosus destroy everything on the ground and are more cost efficient than marines. Stalkers have blink mitigating damage massively vs extremely supply inefficient roachs. The only cost inefficient units for protoss are the units that are easily countered like zealots, void rays, and dark templars. Protoss needed this buff though only because marines are so cheap and kill everything protoss has except HT and Collosus. EMP nerf was needed for TvP, but making TvZ even harder now. I'd like to see how the upgrades scale before saying too much about the change, and if it was or wasn't enough to change anything.

No point in trying to discuss with people like that, they are biased as hell.
Stalker 125-50 2 supply Zealot 100 2 supply Sentry 50-100 2 supply Collosus 300-200 6 supply Immortal 250-100 4 supply
Roach 75-25 2 supply gets +2 amor for first Armor upgrade. Ling 25 1 supply Hydra 100-50 2 supply Infestor 100-150 2 supply
Marine 50 1 supply Marauder 100-25 2 supply Ghost 200-100 2 supply Medivac 100/100 2 supply (heals your units/and able to harass) Viking 150-75 2 supply
Saying toss is Cost effective before 200/200 Max upgraded army is beyond stupid. even at 200/200 their not considered cost effective if Terran/zerg engage in a open space. and not to mention every counter to Toss tier 3 is at tier 2 or 1.5 for both races. Zergs might have to get Hive to counter Deathball tho. but terran doesnt. The chances of toss makeing it to the deathball without a huge disadvantage is and should be extreamly low unless you allow him to. Tradeing Cost effective EArly/middgame is soo easy vs Toss, and theres no excuse for someone not doing it. wev seen it time and again in Tournaments these past Months. and this is why Toss is doing Horrible atm.
Upgrades will make Toss slightly more cost effective in middgame, but as for makeing them "unbeatable". i dont think so.

The new portrait is terrible. Who would ever use that?

any idea when it will be on the korean server, where GSL will be played?

I think some players with low apm will get into trouble in their TVP after the Patch 1.4.2. As a terran player in platinum league, it's so hard for me to use the EMP against HTs...... A few psi storms can destory my entire infantry in the late game...

open starcraft 2 watch any PvZ or PvT replay open army tab value ????? Profit
protoss wins by just overthrowing money on his army, the engagements are always something like 6000/4000 vs 5000/2500

Probably in the form of another bunker nerf. Been too long since we've seen one of those.
