Don't think i'll be playing much many TvP macrogames anymore though. Bio never felt right in TvP anyway. | ||

As far as HotS goes, it looks like they're going to be perfecting mech and throwing in the Shredder just to add insult to injury, making "the most well-rounded race" even more well-rounded, so you'll probably have plenty of new innovative bio or mech builds to choose from in HotS. And then I'd assume that LotV would introduce extra starport units, all of which are as good as, if not better than, the banshee... allowing Terrans to go air builds if they feel like it ![]() More stuff for me to replicate. | ||

Protoss has alot more variation if the chose to use it. Only 1 Techtree is kinda bad against Terran and thats Stargate. For Terran its 2 of 3 Techtrees that just suck against Toss | ||

Thor and Tanks are not really that good but tanks are still very viable in Marines tanks or 1/1/1 build. Also Banshee harass, vikings shut down both colossi and Carriers, VRs. So what are you tryning to say? Protoss has less option, KA was removed so HT isn't good anymore, Stargate is obviously a joke, so Protoss pretty much has to use colossus in every single game. | ||

Mech and Air are way easier countered and are alot harder to replace if you start to lose units. They just are not more cost effecient then Bio even though they are more expensive. | ||

What i'm saying is that TvP is not fun to play for me so if i could thumps down to never play against Protoss i would do that. I hate playing Bio but unless i try to kill the opponent early i have to play it. | ||

Isn't Zea/Stalk/Colossus/HT/Archon pretty much every endgame Toss ball in TvP? 5 units from 2 of the 3 tech-trees? Even if you throw in Immortals, 6 kinds of units vs. 5 doesn't strike me as a "lot more variation." Also, it is at least possible to go a totally different path for Terran (see: Goody) with Thor/Banshee/Hellion. There is no second composition for Toss; it's just ZSCHAI every game. | ||

That game made me a believer that the ghost needed an adjustment. But, I don't believe your going to see a huge change in code 'S'. Even if balance is restored between the races, I think there's more talent playing Terran right now at that level in Korea. I could be wrong but that's what it looks like. I get the feeling Protoss players are a little in the wilderness as to what the best strategy IS and how their race should be played. When do you make Colossus? When do I add warp prism play? Whats the proper timing and role of DT's? Where as T & Z appear to be more settled. I'd like to get others opinions on Protoss strategy? Are Terran and Zerg more settled in their strats than Toss? | ||
