The EMP nerf will be a dream come true, and I hope it will help fix ghosts for late game TvP. Shields cost reduction is also nice given how underused they were. The ground weapons/armor cost reduction I really didn't expect, nor am I sure they are actually needed, but I doubt it will make a big difference. 75/75 aint that much more/less for 2/2, but I'm not gonna complain when Blizz decides to throw in unexpected buffs to my main race

Rofl what a nonsense. Ok I understand plasma shields cost reduced but attack and armor? Protoss always get's fastest upgrades in the game due to chrono and now cost is reduced?! Even if as a zerg I am rushing for upgrades toss is always ahead so wtf..

There is absolutetly no reason to make that comparison. Why does it matter if one race get their upgrades faster? They are different races, have different upgrades, it's really irrelevant if the other races get their upgrades quicker or slower if it leads to a more balanced game play. I'm not saying it will but I assume that's what Blizzard is going for.

Especially love the shield upgrades since there's potential there but it was never used 'cause just too darned expensive.

It's not a competition in upgrades. Are you saying you can't win games if protoss is ahead in upgrades?

Yes man upgrades often decides game outcome. Toss is always ahead of zerg in upgrades and now they will have the deadly 3 attack even faster.

Well, Protoss units are supposed to be better, I guess they feel upgrades are part of that.
I don't think the races needed to have equal upgrade capabilities - the game is balanced around myriad other things.

Oh my god, that's a terrible change.. EMP-ing zealots has been already very difficult due to their charge and mass, not it has become even worse. Now area has been reduced from 12 to 7, it's HUGE nerf. I have no idea how much ghosts you should have to successfully and fast EMP the toss army.
Upgrade change cost is unbelievable, such a big cost reduce. In any case toss gets his upgrades maxed much faster than terran does, so what's the point?
