I'm a masters T as well, and I struggle incredibly TVP unless I do some sort of cheese, which is why there's so many T cheesing on ladder nowadays. Basically chargelots should be renamed immortals since they virtually live forever. While the battle helion is cool, its a shame we need to wait till HOTS while protoss gets a buff now.

I think the main thing people need to realize is that GSL is not representative, not even close, of ladder and most other tournaments. It really gets to people when they see toss dominated in GSL because it is by far the biggest show in Sc2 that happens constantly.

I don't really think that EMP got nerfed so much because it's and AOE it has possibilities to hit atleast 2 and max 8 atleast so I don't think where the whine comes bcs with protoss you have to click every unit that you wanna feedback

I don't fully understand the reasoning behind the armor and weapons price changes, but the shield change is cool. Also yeah for making more templar late game pvt!

EMP change is really good, makes it much easier to feedback... Also Upgrade costs have always been ridicilous expensive, good that they lowered it a bit^^

seriously cheaper upgrades for toss??
and i wish u could click on fucking units with emp like in brood war, it makes it more accurate.

i feel like everyone cries about terran opness it gets fucked over alot. whatever, time to adapt i guess. been playing terran since 02 not about to stop now ;/

hopefully other races stop crying about terran now;/

Theres absolutely no reason to reduce the cost of attack and armor, toss get the fastest upgrades with chrono boost

Remember that Toss also has the fewest number of units, so that their upgrades don't scale as well.

emp change was neccassary since it had same radius after storm etc was made smaller
i still think snipe range should be like -1 but otherwise i love this change

ps: i think its really nice lovely small buff for protoss that could mean alot ^^ doesnt make p stronger but make them live longer vs midgame pushs with cheaper upgrades

Wow I'm a Protoss player and I feel this is way too imbalanced now. The cost for upgrades was alright, it's only a one time buy. The EMP radius reduction is a bit ridiculous.
The only good job is a blow job.

the emp one is HUGE...

before: 2*2*pi = 4pi
after: 1.5*1.5pi = 2.25pi

You got a 0.56 ratio. What it means:
You used to hit 10 sentries, now you can only hit 6.

Woohoo. Now Ghosts dont blatantly counter infestors.

I find the upgrade changes pretty good, it encourages mass upgrades which is how toss should win. I mean, they are the technology race, right?

Still doesn't fix the main problem of why TvP is so T favored. I'm sitting on a 90% w/l ratio TvP right now because of how IMBA the 1/1/1 is. They should give the immortal a range 7 upgrade thats available from the robo and give the immortal an upgrade from the robo that requires a twilight council that raises their armor from 100 to 200.

This Toss buff is just going to give me more incentive to continue to 1/1/1 TvP and refine it.

i dont see how the shields buff make any sense. that investment is heavily depended on the mid-late game, which protoss have advantage over other races im late game( 1 being charge zealots)

this will push protoss into the lategame faster and encourage deathball tactics.

emp nerf may be appropriate as when you compare with psi storm.

as a lowly gold protoss I have a question

I don't know enough about game mechanics but all I hear is that shield<armor

with the new costs for upgrades is it now viable to get shield level 1 before getting armor level 3?

also if my army consists of zealot/archon should I go for shields earlier?, like before shields 2?
