Shredder won't be a unit. Its a spidermine-like ability.

it's a confirmed unit. mobile but doesnt do anything. mode 2= immobile shredder when no friendlies are around

None of these are any more confirmed than the alpha units in WoL were. If all of these make it into SC2 the way they are...

Here we go again. Instead of giving the players the tools they need to strategize against each other regardless of race, each race gets ridiculous gimmicks to ab/use. Wings of Liberty was bad enough with this, I was hoping they'd tone it down in the expansion. Guess that's not going to happen.

It really seems like none of the Protoss units actually fill in any holes for any PvX matchups. There's still no ability to actually harass worker lines (blocking mining from a mineral patch is NOT the same); there's still no ability to deal with the absurd amount of DPS that ghosts/marines can put out, there's still no midgame answer to strong muta-ling-infestor styles, there's still no answer to brood/infestor. (Tempest will only do strong damage to mutas, but it's a lategame unit.)

All joking about winning a PvT by turning the P into a T aside, I can't see a single situation where the clone unit would be at all valuable for anything.

They replaced carrier with a reskined useful version... big deal.
They added that oracle that is most likely replace for vr phoenix harras early game and can actually function late game... still can't mass them or relay on them due to FG so not much change from phoenix
The other toss unit is not "explicit" enough to tell and i doubt it will stay
The terran "battle-helion" will just make mech more overpowerd vs zerg and still not viable vs toss
The "new" Goliath is a new Goliath and most likely just a "response" to other races getting more air so you can't go "mass air" vs terran ( marines are "overpowerd" but if you could mass like 10+ of the new carriers... considering they should be good now and mass vikings is gimmcky due to fast wg transition )
Zerg units are even more ambiguous so im with no comment , overall im kinda disapointed with it :/

All very interesting, I guess I like the zerg ones the most. Flying defiler looks awesome, very interested to see what tech it would require.
Swarm unit i don't really know, i guess it's a hydra transformation but it seems a bit weird to me, i would assume it spawns broodlings while burrowed and require detection and something long range to get rid of efficiently, perhaps providing some sort of lurker role.

Protoss units seem a bit all over the place, the oracle or some sort of flying caster was pretty much expected. I guess and hope it will be the much needed harassment unit P lacks currently. I'm disapointed that isn't a ground unit though as the harassment unit already being a flyer kind of removes the point of the warp prism even more. It might even be a robotics unit to give some much needed harassment tech to the robo tech but probably it's a stargate unit making that even more the harass tech. Replicant looks pretty sweet for copying key units and perhaps stealing abilities, I would love a nice cool unit which would especially be good in mirrors. Copying stuff to get abilities protoss wouldn't have like healing with medivacs or fungal with an infestor would be even cooler.
Tempest looks a bit silly to me and I don't like capital ships much, it probably won't see much play anyway. 3 capital ships for P seems 1 too many so perhaps the mothership gets replaced? I could also see them adding a mechanic where you could only make the one OR the other, which could add some nice decisions.

Terran units are a bit of a letdown to me. Warhound seems to conflict a bit with the roles of the marauder (against armored ground units) and the thor (aoe against air) suggesting that one of those gets replaced. Perhaps it's just a aoe attack against armored air though to add a interesting dimension to viking wars and the like.
Battle hellion sounds way to transformers-like for me but It could be a good way in the direction of more fleshed out mech play. Perhaps with the battlehound being some form of faster AoE they want to promote mech play in more matchups. I have a hunch the battlehellion will benefit from infantry techs though creating interesting dynamics, i've always felt that bio play having a idle factory was a bit of a ugly design flaw which I would hope they'd change (likewise making a useful unit for mech from the rax).
Finally shredder is probably just a tactical unit that serves as a spider mine or something adding some more tactical/positional defensive possibilities to terran, probably coolest unit of them all for me.

Yea if you take a look at the mothership spell Icon its a momma ship with lazors raining down,and the new picture on a nexus is a building with lazors going up.
I'm pretty sure its recall.

I think the mothership's recall icon might be a leftover from when they had Planet Cracker.
