That doesnt make sense if they're expensive, and they will be. IMO it will be used only vs spellcasters or workers.

A bunch of primitive bugs overran Aiur. I'm pretty sure it's a fear/respect relationship between the Zerg and Protoss.

In the campaign it's said that the Protoss hold a high amount of regard for Jim Raynor, they don't despise human technology.

If anything, it makes sense that they want to study other races, work out the flaws in their own technology and borrow ideas.

I love how people are completely overreacting and saying "this unit imba" or "why would blizzard ever make this unit, it's completely useless" and "thor/marauder/infestor/whatever removed for sure with this" when we don't know ANYTHING about these units besides description. Lets wait until the ACTUAL reveal in 5 hours so we can get the real facts. Like HP, actual attack damage, movement speed, confirmation of removed units, more detailed explanation of spells than "reduces damage from attacks" and "disrupts enemy mining", etc before we make any claims.

For all we know some of these units aren't even IN the multiplayer game. They only said that 3 of them were so far, this could easily be for the singleplayer as well. Just just calm down, relax, and wait 5 hours before spouting a bunch of crap about imba and "blizzard y u so noob"

All of the new units are too versatile and have complex special abilities and they've added way too many of them. Nobody can even begin to imagine all the possible abusive strategies people will come up with a month or two after release.

is psi storm an ability? if u cant use any abilitys or attacks when z has their army underneath their op swarm then how are we supposed to kill their units?

All protoss players should chill out. Gateway units might get readjusted. all the new spellcasters for toss looks really weak, but HOTS is not even out. Hold your horses guys

This is what strikes me odd.
Instead of doing this, why not just add Goliaths, Firebats and Defilers (and Lurkers <3)? The community wants 'em, and obviously Blizzard sees the potential of such unit within the SC2 unit arsenal (given that those new units basically behaves just as their BW counterparts), so why dance around the matter like this?



For one thing, the battle hellion is still a hellion. The units are different enough for them not to simply be named whatever the general BW equivalent was named.

Ehm, so theoretically a few dark swarms over some swarm hosts while infestors fungal any melee units trying get close should be pretty good yes?

Blizzard can't leave both the infestor and the viper, it would be ridiculous.
