What the hell are you even talking about lol... Steelseries products are good, the quality of their stuff is amazing. I don't buy products because the company that makes them sponsor good players I buy products that are efficient, high quality and long-lasting and Steelseries fits all of that. If you wanna look at shitty products that are only bought because they "look cool" look at Razer, not Steelseries.
Personally I've been using Steelseries headsets for ages and more recently one of their keyboards and I absolutely love them, this is coming from someone who has wasted many a dollar on cheap and plastic-y Razer keyboards and mice only to have them fail/break a couple weeks/months later. Congrats to Steelseries and Mvp/Nestea, hopefully both sides benefit equally from the partnership.

Maybe you don't buy products of a company because they sponsors good players, but some do. A lot more than you think. Do you really think Steelseries is popular because they products are high quality? Hell no. Just open a pair of siberia and you will understand. Truth is that Razer is as cheap as Steelseries, their products are cheap quality and are sold at high prices and because of all the marketing around it, they are popular. Only Razer mice tend to be more popular because some don't use crappy sensors.
After buying their crappy 1st version of siberia that broke after a year and a half (btw they broke because of the crappy quality of the headset itself and the design), seeing so many friends buying some siberia's that didn't last more than 2 years, buying their 5hv2 that also broke after about 1 year (had some wires problems and my friend couldn't even fix it because the wires didn't want to be welded), trying their mousepad that was pretty good at first but worn out in a matter of months of intense gaming and finally tried some of their mice, I personally can say that Steelseries products are everything but good. The quality of their stuff is as amazing as Razer, and that means really cheap for the price you pay. Only the mech boards from Steelseries are worth buying.
